  • Yes I like this and thank you for your offering I have been saying this for so long but it's like the masses are under a spell and just can't see with the same clarity that I do in terms of exposing the lies that we have come to accept and embrace everyday.

Your contribution to the growth of humanity is priceless continue the work and may your deeds be blessed.

  • Wow, really like this presentation on many levels. We are so in need for an education system overhaul!

  • don't put me in a box .... somebody might shut the lid!! thank you for this thought provoking clear demonstration of how what the educational system needs to look like going forward ... as a former teacher and a parent and now nearing 60 you have made my soul sing !! this is exactly my belief with few exceptions ... now let's make it happen!!

  • UM. I want that as a poster for my wall. Kthnx.

  • Interesting! Thanks for sharing :)

  • very good..

  • I was thinking about "advanced" or "gifted" classes. Therefore the smart get smarter, and essentially then, the others get less as smart as compared to them.

  • One thing he leaves out of educating our future from the study of the past through other countries. HYPERINFLATION!

  • It's easy. End the Department of Education

  • Wow, this was really interesting! Thanks for sharing it w/ me!

  • very interesting thanks for sharing!!!

  • I enjoyed the animation greatly as well as the content. I was distracted when the map showed Colorado and Utah without a border (future map of Colotah?). I am glad to learn that I am a divergent thinker and that paper clips are so useful. At that point of the video I got out a box of paper clips and tried to top 200 uses.

  • SPAMMER

  • I would hang that Piece, on my wall at home ... for all to see lol

  • Wow. I did rather poorly in school. Had I been taught what as was conveyed herein, I might've been as braing as my Ivy League girlfriend. Thanks for sharing.

  • I advise you post this video on the website wimp (dot) com. It has a large user base (I reckon over 100,000 check it daily) who look to find videos like this.

  • Im so glad others see the system for what it is.

  • cool vid! thumbs up

  • amazing thank you

  • i like it, thumbs up!

  • watch?v=KCh5KvRgC4s

  • Excellent artwork.

  • Gee I never agreed with anyone more than this.

  • interesting video ! thank you for sharing ;

  • Great drawings ha ha!

  • I only go to college when i have all the money for it why would i just barrow things that i may not be able to repay?

  • I would love to post this info on my website with your permission

  • @EliciaClegg Yes that would be fine. Please speread the word of the Universal Scholar Foundation. Check out our website

  • @UniversalScholarFdn Hey did you get this of of RSA.org

  • I say instead of shoving the evidence-less dogma of evolution down our children's throats we give them every theory, present the evidence for every theory, and let them decide for themselves. We need to restore the curriculum to the local school so that the federal government can't manipulate our children with the propaganda they pass off as "education" today.

  • its weird i live in VA and i a "sever" case of adhd and they fed me all kinds of meds like you said by the time i got to middle school i relized i could free my mind and i was good at art if i wasn't medicated so i sold my pills to other kids "to act like i was taking my meds" cause my perants are blind to the world and beleave feeding me pills was best i never learned better i got better at picking my nails till they bleed thats about it...very enlighten video thank you

  • I've seen this video so many times :) I love it

  • Even if we don't need a degree, we still need to learn the material that the degree teaches and people just don't have the self discipline to sit on a computer and actually learn.

  • You get a phd and there is no way you cant get a job.

  • I think the reason why students are going into debt so easy is not just because of there tuition, its also because of cost of living. Where I am about to go to school is just down the street from where I live. I could fucking walk there everyday. I guess it depends on how you have it. I get to live in my girls parents place for minimal rent. just got to buy my own food and thats it. So the amount of loan i needs is about 25k for a bachelor another 10 k for the masters the max needed 40k for Phd

  • Thanks for sharing:)

  • GREAT VIDEO! *Reposting* He speaks of the things my friends and I always discuss... a half minded society and the struggle to live in it.

  • While you have some points, this just is not a new way of thinking or a different one, it's standard idealistic clap trap that in the end would cost way more to pay for and with similar if not worse results. Sorry, it has been tried and failed and will be tried and fail forever as the people who believe in it are simply unable to open their minds enough to find ways to work within a cost effective system. Though to ve fair we should at this point just chuck the idea of tax supported schooling.

    "THE GREAT DISASTERS"

  • Interesting...

I think the biggest problem is to much government control over how schools teach, the department of education is very restrictive of how and what we teach children... it's no longer about teaching them how to think- but what to think, I'll send this to a few people and see what they think.

  • The long term effects of these medications include heart problems not to mention Thyroid issues in the developmental stages of a childs life. Doctors... PCP's are the new drug dealers of our society. Ask the person behind the Pharmacy counter what the effects are of prescribed medications. Challenge your Doctors and ask questions.... Don't understand? Ask more questions. Take advantage of the 80 bucks an hour they are making off of ya !

  • So what can I do to Help? As a Medic I deal with these issues n the Street. What is the next level this can be taken to?

  • i never went to college and i work as a manager at an airport while tons of my friends who did go to college work at McDonalds

  • Getting an education with the objective of getting a job does not make any sense if there are no jobs.

    Nice art.

    Dismal philosophy.

  • I have ADHD and was forced to take medication This only makes your child worse! I could not function with medication outside of the classroom, and it really fucked my shit up. I (secretly) stopped taking them and developed a new approach to school by using a binder organization method of my own design so that things were easier for me. My parents started thinking the meds were working until I told them I hadn't taken a single one in a year and showed them what I was doing. The were astounded!

  • Great Video, thanks for sharing! I think it was Bobby Fischer who quit the school and said "they don't teach anything there." He was right.

  • @NewVahan2011 Share it with your friends!!! :) And you should check out the UniversalScholarFoundation ORG. We are a non-profit trying to spread this movement of improving our educational system. More information can be found on our site

  • @UniversalScholarFdn This is why I beleive in Free Markets when it comes to education, for the government creates chaos in everything it touches while only a few benefit.

  • Wow, this is good! Thanks for sending me this.

I actually believe one of the reasons why schools are still around even with so many other, far better, ways of learning surround us, is simply because parents need babysitters...and school has become just that. If we would just get our heads out of our asses and use tools like the internet. Sure, it can teach us too much at times...but my parents didn't teach me those things; so the internet taught me about sex...big deal, I'm better for it.

  • corporations run usa= its sad.

  • I actually believe in Experience rather than education in a way that the more experience you have that "increases" your knowledge with the world around you and can get you jobs or interviews. The education world right now has major budget cuts and need students to gain money. Many of those students need jobs to pay for college and to get a job there needs to be a :starting point: so to speak. At least a bit of experience that will make the employer believe you are reliable.

  • Our system is set up to "weed out". It works at least for it's purpose. I'm actually one of the goofballs who saw through all the smoke and mirrors a long time ago and dropped out of school. Now I'm paying for my lack of conformity within the game (structure) our society is based upon. I don't mind. I think the game is goofy, so I sit and back and watch. Spectators have a different perspective than players. I can see the whole picture and it's weaknesses and more easily exploit them. ;)

  • @sinsofthesea Well said!

  • this is deep

  • loan and it all has to be approved. Maybe this crap is happening in usa but not canada. You need a degree to get specific jobs. I cant just go apply for a biochemist position. Yes, I agree kids now a days are not interested in school but any parent that feds them meds with out a physiologist approving it is a bad parent. The reason kids don't want to go to school is because of the parenting and because they have video games and other stupid shit. It's called bad parenting.

  • @EvironmentalistsEdge In the US, if you actually do go through college like you're brainwashed to, all you get at the end is a job sweeping floors...they tell us to go to college, but then every career demands a little magical thing called experience...then you want to kill yourself for wasting your time. Thankfully I avoided that, but not everyone gets off so easy, the economy is tanking fast, and it's because everyone is so incredibly stupid, it's unbelievable actually.

  • @TheBosstrain In a way your right, in a way your wrong. It depends the degree your getting. There are plenty of degrees that have co-op work placement, which is hands on paid working that you do after your main college classes. I think people just need to do there research before getting into college. Yes your right that they are brain washed into going, so they go with out doing the research and they chose some dumb ass degree. Then they end up with all these loans and they cant

  • @EvironmentalistsEdge Actually, what's wrong here in the US is that socialism is slowly taking over, and it's causing a never ending loop. People don't want to work or get fired, they go on welfare, the country as a whole loses money, which causes business to lose money, which then foces those businesses to fire more people which in turn adds to the decrease in overall wealth of the country. It's a sinking ship. We're socialists now, it's bizarre.

  • @TheBosstrain work right away. Yes it all has to do with the economy out there. Here in canada you need the degree, not just for the degree but for the knowledge. I don't know maybe its much different out there, then over here in canada.

  • @EvironmentalistsEdge One of the contributers of this socialist web is that the government will actually fund students to go to college regardless of whether they'll do anything with it or not. The student finally graduates, then they have a giant bill to repay, but there are no jobs since everyone's being laid off in the countries worst economic state since the industrial revolution. It makes me sick just thinking about it, the people running the US have no experience.

  • @TheBosstrain Yeah your probably right there but what happens when the economy goes back up and all those people who didnt take degrees are not qualified for the real good profession. Then they bitch and complain because they have to work on a production line or at mcd's. Science is the way to go. With a science degree if your country sucks they can just move to another. But I guess with a falling economy people are stuck in a loop because they cant afford to live or move.

  • @EvironmentalistsEdge Oh, and video games taught me how to think...now I'm a video editor with a career, thank you very much. Just because most kids get stuck in games just means those kids are dumb, we need to recognize not everyone is intelligent and move on to those that are, not punish the smart ones by limiting their creativity because the next kid can't keep up...you wouldn't tell athletes they have to wait for the losing team...would you?

  • @TheBosstrain Well its not just video games now a days, it's that the kids would rather be entertained than to actually learn things. I hear so many teens saying calculus is a waste of time and that they will never use it. Well to be be in any science profession, you need calculus. Maybe kids now adays don't want to do science, but really science is the best thing to get into. Its promising, especially computer science or anything that has to do with computers.

  • @EvironmentalistsEdge No, calculus is dead, it's completely useless, I can get any answer I need fron my computer, and no, you don't need it to work with computers, I know everything I need to, I can build a super computer, install the best software available, be able to use that software, and if I wanted to I could easily learn how write my own software, all without knowing anything about calculus other than its principles. ;)

  • @TheBosstrain That type of attitude is why people are dumb as fuck. Can you build a micro processor or design them. No you cant because you need an computer engineering. To do engineering you need calculus.

  • @EvironmentalistsEdge Sorry, but I can build a micro processor if I needed to, it's just tip and ring (aka on and off). Take apart an old processor if you have one around, you can usually get the casing open with some determination and a flathead screwdriver...you'll notice a bunch of tiny wires going in and out all over....on and off. T build one from scratch you first need a computer much like the ones in the 1950's.

  • @EvironmentalistsEdge Next you can program it to build a slightly smaller version that can handle something more serious which builds you a smaller version...in a short amount of time you have one that goes on and off really fast, much like the one I'm using right now, and you're done. Any questions, class? :D

I know...I'm an asshole, people tell me all the time, I'm used to it.

  • @TheBosstrain I need more information teacher. I am not getting it right. what do they call the little wires? What is the purpose of the off and on? And again what does a micro processor do?

  • @EvironmentalistsEdge See, no one realizes that a computer is no more complicated than a telegraph. Technology is stagnant as hell, a telegraph sends a signal when it's on, it stops when it's off...on/off, tip and ring. A computer has thousands of tiny wires, one set of wires says on, the other says off, and after alternating in a pattern it starts decoding the message from the last set of on and off which was initiated by a program inside the hard drive.

  • @EvironmentalistsEdge A micro processor, or just processor (CPU), is the device that is controlling the motherboard. They're labeled "micro" because they're hundreds of times smaller than they used to be...which was basically the size of a room. The wires are typically called a "data bus", but I hate it when people try to make things sound complicated when it's simple as can be, they're just trying to make you think they're smart, when they're not at all.

  • @TheBosstrain Okay I meant what was a microchip for? I know alittle about a desk top which I am going to be building one soon.

  • @EvironmentalistsEdge Ah, an aspiring comrade in building computers...a microchip is just a chip, whether it's the motherboard, the CPU, a graphics card, etc; any working component is a microchip, or has one in it, the word is fairly mundane actually. I have a lot of great info for you...first of all, newegg com, second is do not be afraid, I repeat, do NOT be afraid, and don't let these bastards confuse you with their fancy words! I'll get more detailed in a little bit.

  • @TheBosstrain Here is another reason why people are having rough times is because as teens they are not doing good enough in high schools to get scholarships to universities.

  • @EvironmentalistsEdge Agreed, though I'd say it's because teachers aren't teaching and are severely underpaid to do so. Parents should be teaching their own kids, not sending them to a school for a minimum wage stranger who doesn't give a shit about the kid to do so properly. ;)

  • @TheBosstrain How can the average parent teach their own kids when they are busy working? The average family cannot afford to have only one income. I do think it's a conspiracy to take the kids out of the home and have them raised by the system. In America, you can't even touch your kids, which undermines whatever parental authority is supposed to be there. I do think beating kids works. My grandma beat the shit out me and I respect her more than anyone today.

  • @hathorrox Yes, whatever happened to being whipped with the belt. My dad would just start taking his belt off and that ended the problem ;). I know with both parents working it's a major problem, either one or the other needs to stay home. Why do you think it took so long for women to get rights? It's because men knew somewhere deep down that it would be the end of intelligence on a whole, and it seems unfair, but somehow it's better, even though I think women should have rights.

  • @hathorrox Out here in canada we cant hit our kids either, But we have a law that states we can to correct our child. We cant hit them for nothing. If they are being bad we can hit them, tell them whats they did wrong and why you hit them and you cant do it in anger. Other wise with out that law, we would not even be able to grab them by the arm.

  • @TheBosstrain Hell yeah!!! I totally agree with you there man. Kids should be home schooled with the right curriculum.

  • There is a root to all this, its called the american dream and bad parenting. My brother has adhd, my mother does not just give him meds so he can go to school. He is hyper active he runs around like crazy screaming and shit. It has nothoing to do with whats boreing, he just cant learn in school if he does not take meds. This video is dumb. I cant become a biochemist with out getting a degree. Who are these people tryna fool. Maybe there is other methods of education, but you still need a

  • This person needs to read "Economics in One Lesson" and "Lessons for the Young Economist".

That's why you watch this and think "something's amiss".

  • Many are touting the advances of technology as an educational resource for independent education. Some are even of the opinion that online learning is the sole solution to educational reform. It's comments like “I stopped watching when I saw it was x:x min long” that prove some people can not and do not have the resources needed to successfully utilize the internet as an appropriate educational tool. Too many people lack the resources to filter out necessary fact vs. us necessary information.

  • i stopped watching when i saw it was 11 and a half mins
