It's NOT the "new" Boomtown Rats, its Simon & Gary (or Garrick as he wants to be called nowadays) trying to flog a dead horse they were happy to quit donkey's years ago. Bob, Pete, Johnnie & Gerry are all loaded doing stuff post-Rats, whereas they're both skint, so they're trying to rip off gullible retro-fans & middleagers with a 'tribute' act of their former band.
