  • Quick question for anyone that knows. Did the snare you can see between the two first tenors march center snare for MCM? If not he looks exactly like him. Anyway I LOVE playing this opening lick!

  • i was there in rock hill ....i had to perform there and we did really bad we got 7th

  • one thing I'd like to say...Onye's gleaming arms. And his blackness.

  • what sticks are the tenors using?

  • i was there man haha it sucks that it got cancelled i was lookin forward 2 the show

  • did drew guy age out this year?

  • @sonicfreak1995 Sadly. : (

  • whats wrong with the tenor player that is right of center? his left wrist is all funky. did he get hurt?

  • This is so sweet with the snowflakes...

  • Did Amador play in the 2011 bluecoats?

  • @gallegosproductions No, he aged out in 2010.

  • "True. Dut. Tree. Dut. Fork. Dut. Knife. Dut." Hahahahaha. :D

  • Jesus. Onye sweats excellence. Or maybe it was just that southern humidity. Nope, I'm going with excellence

  • The tenor's sticks looks like a big cigarette !!!!

  • @1:00... that was amazing.. Just.. Perfect...

  • Onye is such a badass

  • Who were the age-outs this year?

  • @Salaripride All of the quads aged out...I know that much from being at the Ohio camp last weekend.

  • @paperbeatsrockdrums the one to the left of onye(camera left) didn't age out.

  • @paperbeatsrockdrums no way! i was at the california camp and i heard they were looking for one tenor in the whole country.

  • @paperbeatsrockdrums Sorry man, not true. Andre, the one to the right of Onye, is the only one not returning. And at the Ohio camp, Joe was even playing with us. So there's four vets.

  • 1 dut 2 dut tree dut 4 dut nine dut dut dut dut... lol

  • i assum that tenor next to onye is hurt?

  • This warm up area didn't do this video any justice, but bluecoats make shit on a stick sound good.

  • That impact at 0:53 made my dogs kidney pop.

  • 0:54 the black tenor player fuckin nails that shit, badass as fuck

  • Anyone know what heads the tenors use?

  • @0SukMunky0 They used prototypes, but had Corps Clears by finals.

  • @DrumCorpsTube those prototypes are amazing by the way

  • does Onye like oil himself up before shows or something,i feel like he should be on the cover of a cheap romance novel with his nipples showing

  • @demarubadub lol!

  • that black tenor player is STILL marching bluecoats ^__^

  • lol that was just a sweaty lot. Def no oil.

    @nickandbeninc I have two more summers =)

  • DAT BLACK QUAD PLAYER IS SO DAMN BEAST

  • Did anybody else hear that G6 take-off at the End???

  • DAMN Onye looks like his muscles got greased up before they started filming!

  • Onye's buff as SHIT

  • that is one of the sexiest finishes i've ever seen on marching drums

  • What does 6 words mean?

  • @waterloo119 its their motto. "be the best you can be"

  • @MasterBader2001 That's actually incorrect. Can't help you though, only members and alumni know what it means.

  • @DrumCorpsTube thats what i heard it was. i guess it was incorrect

  • they r AMASING!!!!!!!

  • yoshi is a boss

  • is it bad that i popped a boner watching this?

  • ...people that perform it are still incredible.

  • @JessOnTheRun you come off to me as a simple-minded fool that must not even be a drummer if you couldn't tell the difference in styles between bluecoats, cavaliers and blue devils just for example. What's more, you're comparing then to now. Just like everything else, styles change. This is modern drumming. Besides, the drum book is only like a fourth of the full show you see on the field. That's where the individuality comes out. The people that write this stuff are still geniuses and the peopl

  • click on all the 2011 drum corps drumline lot videos... ITS ALL THE SAME... same book, same tempos, same bullshit faggot moves... dci is nothing but a carbon copy of each other... all the innovation, creativity, originality was from early 80's to late 90's... now, its just repeating all the same thing over and over... BORING... no wonder DCI is losing audiences and they are getting smaller every year.

  • @JessOnTheRun

Oh thanks Jess. Im glad you clarified that. Now I can stop appreciating one of the highest levels of art and music on the planet. And stop enjoying admiring hard work and discipline. What are you? A guitarist?

  • Wow. 2:17 - 2:23 is RIGHT out of 2010's opener.

  • "Squirrel" may be the best Bluecoats audible ever.

  • @StringsofMartyr you should check out some of their 2008 audibles, they were pretty awesome as well :)

  • hey i was here! haah

  • Tree? Fork? Knife? hahaha

  • @soccerdrummer13 Lol three, four, five.

  • bluecoats have the most fun with vocals

  • DUT.... DUT..... DUT DUT DU-Squirrel....DUT lol

  • Onye = The Black Tim Jackson

  • @srch4trth Haha. With better vision and more muscle.

  • @srch4trth Tim Blackson?

  • @srch4trth Onye went to my school

  • @srch4trth Tim Blackson!

  • @paperbeatsrockdrums That's perhaps the best thing I've heard in a while.

  • nice job on the dry attack rolls!

  • anyone know what sticks the tenors are using in the beginning?

  • @padmadness i believe rennicks but i could be wrong

  • @padmadness i think they are shortys unless they changed them during the season. fs-t2 "shorty" if you are looking for them

  • @ghillieman88 I think they look a lot like the cassella snare sticks. the coats have used them in the past, and personally, the sticks they are playing with look a bit long to be shortys.

  • @LAKings0101 true, im not sure if thats just from the way they are taped or if they are snare sticks, at the blueway camp they were using shorties. snare sticks on quads O.o

  • @ghillieman88 I think the snare sticks on quads sound great, but for crossovers and all that, the added length makes it really hard to get around the drums efficiently. But they have used them in the past. I'm not really familiar with tenor sticks, or innovative for that matter, so I bet there are better people to ask than me! :) haha

  • Very Tasty!

    Thank You!

  • wow....thats sick

  • what are those medals they're wearing?

  • @ViSadda They're actually passes to be able to get into the show I believe. Interesting that DCI is making even corps members in uniform wear them this year...

  • @DrumCorpsTube yea in WGI they made our group wear them to and we were in the most exotic looking outfits so there was nobody that would want to dress like us to get into the show free

  • @DrumCorpsTube theyre actually just medals from the 'tour of champions'

  • @DrumCorpsTube They are Tour of Champion badges for the TOC shows. We had to wear them for those shows to be more personal with the fans when we saw them in the lot. Kinda cool.

  • @ViSadda They were nametags for the Tour of Champions Shows.

  • sounds amazing :) and all the stick flips, basses and tenors :D GO BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :)
