@GamingMad247 the weapons are being 'dropped' as you play the game and sometimes you can force drop the weapon by crafting the weapons you already have from drops and yes they are free

I'm pretty sure valve made a mistake making the shortstop the designer of the weapon wanted it to be secondary but valve made it primary.......

The thing is, it isn't any weaker.

It does lower damage per shot at close range, but it has a faster shooting speed and reloads 4 shots at once. And it also has lower damage falloff, being able to do decent damage where the Scattergun would barely be useful.

So it actually has a HIGHER DPS.

@Tiomasta With single shots, the force-a-nature and the scattergun a bunch more damage than the shortstop, which I found to not be worth the higher rate of fire

Another flamethrower for the Pyro, and it does even less damage. Valve I am disappoint.

@TheSunsetHero256 The Degreaser does less AFTERBURN damage, i.e. when you burn someone, they'll take 2 damage every 0.5 second during 10 seconds, for a total of 40 damage.

While with the Flamethrower (or Backburner), they take 3 dmg each 0.5 second during 10 seconds, for a total of 60.

This basically means the Degreaser is as of today a blatant upgrade for the Flamethrower (but it may be nerfed soon).

Doesn't the Degreaser decrease the AFTERBURN, and not the actual BURN damage?

@EmpoBona It actually decreases both, but this is fine for players more oriented towards puff and stings. If you're the type who prefers ambushing from the back, stick with BB, but switch in the Powerjack for melee since it can get you out of an ambushing attempt gone wrong. As for secondary, shotgun is still most versatile in either situation.

@Toast9v4 Take 1 reclaimed metal + a second tier item of the class you want. (Example: 1 reclaimed metal + direct hit = black box, 1 reclaimed metal + buff banner = battalion's backup, 1 reclaimed metal + force of nature = shortstop)
