After BC - Shattrath is a ghost town

During WotLK - Best City = Dalaran

After WotLK ( Cata ) Dalaran = Ghost town, Skywall = Best city =)

@connorkwl Skywall's not a city, I don't see why anyone would even go there if they weren't planning on raiding. It would be stupid and every time you sit down you'll get attacked by NPCs.

@matt657657 No you idiot, it won't. Dalaran contains portals to every capital city. So even in Cataclysm, which doesn't take place in Northrend, it would be extremely wise to go to a place that let's you get to any capital city instantly. For free. The only other city with that ability is Shattrath, which has so much less high-end content that no one will spend much time there.

@TheZacula lol, you should've read up on what was taking place during the shattering/cataclysm. Shattrath and Dalaran portals were removed, the only people that will really visit there will be mages and people picking up items or visiting for a place to rest at while farming old mats and such

It's not a city in the sky, it's technically an elemental domain in the sky. Since Elementals don't need cities, but then again they don't really need buildings either... So there's really no reason to put this here other than adding a concrete area for the players to run around in.

@dered908 Elementals are pretty egocentric beings, so it's not hard to conceive that the wind elemental princes constructed this "city" in the Skywall as a testament to their power, just as Ragnaros has his own palace in the Firelands - Sulfurion Keep.
