From the lovely people of Edgcumbes Coffee and Tea Ltd :)

  • why did you have to do it with a thermometer and not something else

  • @killerMS777 Because thermometers do the job well and it's something a shop will have on hand. One of those if it ain't broke don't fix it things.

  • It's lovely to look at, but the queue at the Starbucks by me is long enough as it is, without having to wait for someone to draw all over the foam.

  • that was some good milk... kind of a wasted pour if you're just going to draw all over it

  • that does not look anything like a rose.

  • @alltrope because it isn't.

  • Это просто потрясающе)Просто и красиво)

  • It's a little bit the same like water marble with nailpolish in water :D BEAUTIFUL HOLLAND :P mooi toch !!

  • Great job. Really gave a good idea of how it is done. I love coffee.

  • :9(

  • sorry, that didn't look like a rose at ALL...

  • FAILED

  • failed

  • I WANT COFFEE!!!! & HOT chicks!!!

  • If she used a toothpick it would look better.

  • cool...... I want coffee)))))))))))

  • Am a coffee drinker, loves to drink and at least a cup per morning, so its so delicious...

  • hmm, delicious coffee... DO WANT :D

  • I know that this look very nice but I bet it doesn't taste that good. The reason is because while you're taking your time to make that chocolate flower, the foam already seperated from the milk.

  • If you're good it only takes a few seconds. Foam doesn't separate from milk. Foam floats on top of the coffee (espresso mixed with milk). As you can see in the video, the foam continues to float on top. With each sip of cappuccino you get some of that foam and it gives it a creamy texture that's wonderful.

  • yes its chocolate syrup.....

  • It's too pretty to drink!!!

  • @Iris3492 i hate ppl of mixed race

  • can anyone tell me if the brown stuff is chocolate syrup?

  • it's usually 60ml espresso mixed with about 10 tablespoons of chocolate powder. Gives a thicker consistency than chocolate syrup.

  • just cocoa? or drinking chocolate powder? maybe this will work because all the chocolate sauces i've tried just sink into the foam.

  • i had the same problem with the sauce sinking. i found that using a thinner ended squeezy bottle solved this and i was using the same chocolate sauce as before.

  • Ohhh....that's a fabulous idea and just what I need to give my stuff a different taste. Some people may object to the taste of powdered chocolate. You could mix powder into chocolate syrup and thicken it up a little faster than espresso.

  • As the announcer said, it's "chocolade sauce," in other words, chocolate syrup.

  • have you not ever played with your food?

  • It was an amazing pour, with a perfect golden rim.. but the design was eh.

  • i thought it would actually look like a rose :'[ *disappointed

  • oops again. typed to to the wrong person

  • oops sry i clicked the button by accident :[

  • Here's a translation for those few people who don't speak Dutch;" I am very bored. I would like a cup of coffee but look how this girl starts messing up my cupper. What is she doing now? Drawing a stupid flower in my coffee. Bastards, I'm going to shoot myself again, I am so boring."

This narrator is now retired by the way.

  • SUPER LOL.

  • Oh!

She forgot to press the center!

  • wow...she's hot and gorgoeus

  • amen to that!

  • You should see/feel the cappuccino.

  • It's dutch... lemme translate.

"Espresso with 'Friesche Vlag Langlekker' milk is a delightfull combination and we've seen that you can also make beautifull coffee with it. However, it's also possible to add other flavours. With this etching, we'll use chocolate sauce. Draw a spiral from the middle of the cup with the sauce. The foam needs to be thick so the sauce will stay on top. Draw a line to the edge of the cup with a thermometer. Wipe the thermometer and repeat untill you made a star.."

  • "You finish it by drawing several lines from the edge to the middle"

  • thnx

  • that sounded like germanglish

  • ok i didn't understand a word teh old dude said...I just want the ingredients(sp?) to make 'em kind of Coffees!

  • its a cafe latte with extra hot milk added or crea which makes it thick enough so that the design floats and stays intact , its really creamy and delicious , I had one in a little cafe in Venice last summer , it was probably the best tasting coffee ever - even though it didn't have a design , LOL

  • I love coffee, how do you heat milk ??

  • Looked pretty awesome, but damn did it look good too...

  • pretty cool guys

  • i never saw coffee look so good and yet be too afraid to drink it! Its too pretty to drink.

  • HAHAH nice

  • To DrunkedCat:

    Learn how to spell first.

  • I want to drink it, use your words

  • look sooooooooo good lol

  • If you think this is good, you need to watch art of coffee. Much better, faster, and much more designs. This lady should have practiced more before this, though, in the end, it was a good design. she needs to work on speed.

  • How about a link?

  • gaag hui lee nom swa gha dey me sperr spere flaugh de deja gup

  • beautiful!! wats the ingredient for the coffee???? how to make it alot of bubbles on top?>???

  • lol, you need coffee. that's the ingredients. and water. I hope you know how to do that.

and its not bubbles... its a foam. its like making stiff cream for a cake just you use hot [fat] milk.

  • The coffee is espresso and then you add in steamed milk. The bubbles are foamed milk. An espresso machine has a steamer wand on it. The wand shoots out hot steam. You put the wand in a pitcher of milk and allow the steam to shoot until the milk is very hot and you pour that to dilute the concentrated espresso. Then you hold the wand at the surface of the milk and allow the steam to shoot air into the milk. This makes the foam that you call bubbles.

  • this is just a copy of the other vido which is miles better

  • i wouldnt rly care if theres a pretty design, just as long as it tastes good

  • Nice idea to use a stick and paint a rose in the milk foam!! Easy but brilliant idea !!
