This is my all time favorite album of George's Cloud Nine. George had changed my life and he is ver special to me. He will always be my favorite. I am going to his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his birthday to remember him. I really like this song too.
Lately, I have never heard that kind of very pure love songs. It's sad musicians who can write such a beautiful love song pass away more and more in the future too.
I think Paul sought after fame a lot more than George. George was content just being a successful musician. If George wanted more fame it was definitely right there for him. George Harrison was not superficial.
George was in his zone but Jeff was steering the ship...great combo George/Jeff all the songs on Cloud 9 mean something to those who appreciate quality and art. In 100 years time this music will be recalled by society and not forgotten like the shits in the charts today...whens the next album out, Jeff, please hurry up?
listen when backing vocals sing Someplace Else it's the one and only Paul McCartney. In fact at the beginning of this song the first vocal you here is Paul McCartney.
Where can I find the information (but from yourself) that Paul placed his vocals in this song? As well as anyone I've encountered is aware, they are Jeff Lynne's vocals, and perhaps Ringo's.

Man, George was in the ZONE for this album. It's bloody fantastic, one of his best (in my humble opinion).

yea, its amazing how one 20 second clip from the Let It Be movie gives the impression that George and Paul didnt get along. quite the opposite.
