  • Where did you get that roll bar thing?

  • do i see crime fighters

  • what slipper clutch set up are you running?

  • Looks like the stocker...

  • Did you retain the clutch bell from the nitro setup?

  • Great job! I like that truck :)

  • It is a nice vid, and a nice truck. I like to see people do different things just to see how they run.

  • I have a stampede vxl on 3s lipo, and a losi raminator w/ axial .32, jp-4, & aluminum shoes. Both sides make good points, BUT the whole thing about nitro not having bottom is BS. my ram is 13lbs a will flip on it's back when if I nail it. nitro does take forever it seems to get going when it's new, & I will give it to my pede that it has been trouble free. I think nitro is the way to go though. much more power! I'd like to see my ram tied to that e-lst to show what I mean!

  • that brushless neu motor would tear you little .32 axial a new one. plus it will handle 6s lipo. it's no vxl motor buddy!

  • I just the mgt 8.0, it'll have your 6s swollen up! :P

  • No, my friend. It will not. Nitro is inferior to brushless electric. need proof? Youtube it. More torque, better acceleration, and much higher rpm capabilities. my emaxx, with the MMM speed controller, and Neu motor will wreck a mgt 8.0 or any other stock r/c monster by faaaaaaarrrr!

  • Let's see a vid of your so called ride! I think you are full of s**t! I love brushless, and ofcourse it's faster and has instant torque, BUT not as much as an 8.0. If you tie the bumpers together, the 8.0 would drag it down the street. Once though tires start they don't stop.

  • @ryanrummler

I totally agree with you on both of your comments ryanrummler.

    GO BL.

  • can you buy a kit to do this?

  • the electric is cool low end wise, but nitro iis so mch funner. The noise gets you.

  • I was going to say the same thing! I have two trucks: E-maxx 16.8v and the LST2.

    ...

Let's say that the maxx is parked for a while

  • and electric you have to charge but nitro you can just go go go

  • erm... I presume that you have to refuel the nitro too - if you ever get it running that is. :)

If you don't mind all that noise, smell and smoke that makes you cry, nitros might be pretty good - if they just had enough power.

  • what are you talking about i ment you can just go and drive you nitro any time you want just dump some fule in the tank with electric you still have to wait a good 30min to at least drive the thing and they do have enough power they just have to wind up if you knw what that means

  • I don't know about others, but I keep my lipos charged and ready to rock all the time. No need to wait if I want to go and drive.

Yes, nitros need revs and are somewhat useless at the bottom end, with brushless electric you have massive torque straight from the start and they just keep going to the max revs.

  • Nice video song my like pick op tha brokin peace's. but yoo not put up long make drag run straight high speed runnings in video.

  • That motor mount looks pretty sturdy, did you make it yourself or where did you get it?

  • i have the same wheely bar its really shitty i put wooden router wheels onit its so good now

  • thats such expensive hardware, and having to check the temp. a bit worrying there! well i hope it last you out as i know what thee things cost.

  • Undergeared... lol. You people know nothing about throttle control- if he nailed it it would flip instantly- a neu motor has more topend than 5 nitro engines put together. FineDesign sell converted LSTs. As for a Plettenberg BigMaximum- the neu is just as powerful & efficient & about the same price. Nice work btw.

  • The Bigmaxximum has one advantage: An integrated fan.

  • True. Though thats because they tend to run hotter than the neus because they have a higher kv rating, so draw more amps for the same voltage which makes them faster, but hotter too. That said, you can custom order the BM with more windings & a lower Kv rating; great motors....

  • your retarted they make electric lst2's

  • But not Losi itself! They're just built by some hobbyshop whose name I dunno...

  • he probebly has it so unergeared so it wont fry the little ecs

  • ROFL! thoes are little kid toys i have a gas one gos over 100 MPH LOL

  • Yeah if you throw it off the roof of the empire state building. Video of proof or GTFO.

BTW: You should get a better ESC than the MM and a Plettenberg BigMaxximum, this is the setup for trucks lik the savvy and the LST ;)

  • Scratch that, this truck is totally rad as it is :)

  • DUDE u have no idea i work at a hobby shop and we can make any electric car blow the doors off of a nitro!!!!

  • u lying prick.

  • is it faster now?

  • That thing looks really under geared, it has no top end.

  • what snapplane said. I reckon run it heaps taller, maybe u need to run 4s2p so your batteries dont explode though, i imagine that massive truck is going to be drawing a lot of current thru that little esc.

  • didnt you do the same thing with a mgt

  • that thing is badass

  • It was originally a nitro truck. I converted it to electric with a Nue airplane motor and Castle Creations Mamba Max ESC.

  • Aren't those origanally nitro?

  • Is that a Plettenburg in there? It wouldnt be bigmaxx would it?

  • That thing is just wicked.
