  • @Tommo4870 @blackedoutswipz

No gas parts. This is the straight-pull a1 version. The a2 has a comma shaped charging handle.

  • at the end he forgot to close the dust cover

  • what about the gas parts

  • @tommo4870 This is an A1, it doesn't have gas parts

  • Gas Parts ??

  • l95a1 not l98a1 or l98a2

  • @cookieweston L98A1

  • l98(a1) not a2

  • wheres the LSP

  • A full strip is taking the gas parts out. And cleaning.

  • @modernblackops1 its the cadet gp a1 so it doesn't have gas parts but the a2 does js :)

  • @SAm17121995 ahh i was about to ask that

  • @SAm17121995 the a1 is the gas op one thats why the had to change it cos it kept gettin blocked

  • i can strip it with the gas parts in 1min :25 seconds

  • @MilitaryGamerz and put it back together

  • @MilitaryGamerz RM Cadet requirement is under 1 minute to be weapons handling qualified. That means you can't even consider firing it before hand.

When away on week long courses I've pushed it to 38 secs including gas parts and reassemble but generally averages are about 45-50 seconds.

Obviously no cleaning involved before some self proffessed 'ally ninja' pipes up

  • that is not full stripped he needs to strip the part were your put your left hand when shooting if your right handed.

  • also you didnt take the gas parts out you fool -_-

  • @GHdjwormy12 hey dosnt need to take out the gas parts because this is the bolt action version

  • @GHdjwormy12 Be a bit strange taking out non-existent gas parts bro.

  • lol @ crappy L98A1 rifle, the L98A2 is far better :D

  • i noticed that the cocking handle was different hopefully that'll mean good things for my wht tonight!!!!

  • I find it funny how people are slagging this guy off for not doing a function test or removing the gas parts, but if these people were smart they would of noticed the cocking handle and bolt is different to the weapon they had to strip - the l98A2...this is the l98a1, you dont remove the gas parts or have to do a function test.

  • no gas parts no pre strip test !!!! lol

  • @xXchallangerXx10 in RAF cadets the gas parts arent usually taken out i think

  • @PLAYRXZ888KES

It's an L98 A1, there are no gas parts, we now use the L98 A2, which we do take the gas parts out on.

  • No function's test either aswell as the gas parts ? fucking CROW BAG!

  • @chris2995 it's an A1, there are no gas parts. they have been taken out

  • you have done it wrong

  • What, no stripping the gas parts?

  • @MrISniiPE Because the A1 that was issued to the cadets didnt have any gas parts which is why it was single shot only

  • @TheMatthewGillard

I see, I had never used the A1, sorry for my error there.

  • @MrISniiPE No worries I didnt actually know myself until I asked an adult instructer why the weapon only fired single shot and they told me.

  • you forgot about the gas assembly.

  • Comment removed

  • @AdMaRxHD The L96 is a type of sniper rifle so yes it would be different. The weapon in this video is the l98A1, which you cocked with your right hand. With the l85 you are right, you use the left hand to reach over and cock the weapon and adjust change lever. There is no l85 in this video.

  • @thespiritualgamer, whether your taught by RA, infantry or any other arm, it doesn't matter as long as they are proper saa instructors. Any involvement with sTAbs automatically counts as useless. There's a reason most regulars hate working with the TA

  • im sure your right hand shouldn't be used to cock it

  • is this city of hull sqn 152

  • I can do this on the A2 Blindfolded inc Pre strip + functions test :D

  • @DeckchairsFTW SAME

  • 20 years ago Iinstead of that being the cadet It would have been a full auto sa80, l1a1, bren or lee enfield.

  • Are you from 2523 squadron?

  • This is the cadet version of the L98A1 there are no gas plug, piston, gas cylinder, this is the self loading riffle but we now have the updated cadet L98A2 which is only semi automatic and the A2 has the gas parts in it.

The ARMY,NAVY,AIR FORCE all use this weapon, but hekland cocks have taken the SUSAT and switch leaver off the side of the weapon so you cannot change the weapon to full automatic. :'(

  • you forgot the gas parts

  • @spawnscapeconrad

it doesnt have any gas parts the gun has to be manually cocked

  • haha

he forgot the gas chamber, which is also a vital part of stripping and cleaning this rifle as a lot of carbon sets itself there.

  • @londongangster It doesnt have a gas chamber, the SA80 does, This is the L98, the bolt locks, and stays closed when fired, the operator has to cycle the bolt manually with each shot...

  • @dratsab1980 there is no such rifle as the sa80

  • @WW2AirSofters No, no of course theres not, how silly of me...

  • @dratsab1980 no you right there isnt sa80 is the name of the series of weapons not the rifle its self

  • forget to put hand over where spring is when removing TMH rest looked good

  • This is the L98A1, there are no gas parts, and it SUCKS BALLS. That's about it... lol

  • is this the a1? there is not the white part on the end like the a2

  • @MrParodymakers99 yep, that is A1, it has the awkward cocking handle, plus this video was uploaded before L98A2 became mainstream

  • You didnt take out the gas parts :p

  • @ToxiiicGod Cos It doesnt have any... :p

  • and i would of took the A2 apart already... geez he is slow

  • failed already

  • you didnt check the front catch and the barrel

  • @HabboKingCrip He's in greens. Why would he have a brassard?

  • @Mangoyle becoz he is in the army cadet force

  • @CLK56100

From what I can see he is in the Air Training Corps, he's wearing blue backed rank insignia.

  • @oBritisho ATC are gay, i know i used to be one and i switched to ACF as soon as i found my nearest one and it was good because i didnt have to take WHT again and i had all the kit because they make you buy your owne

  • @BAILEY5511

Neither of the four contingents of the cadet forces are "gay" I know there's the healthy banter between all of them but yeah, in theory ALL cadet forces should require cadets to purchase a CS95/20 uniform as their contingent forces (RAF,Army,RN) aren't scaled to supply them

  • @oBritisho fair enough but remmember these 3 words

    soap. shower. dropped

  • Cadets.... the 'other other' military.

  • Oh... Take gas parts out first, and make sure they're the last thing to put back in..

  • @MRKing2910 i think its the L98A1 mate.... fully bolt action, no gas parts.

  • @darkninjapea93 its not bolt action and yes it has got gas parts

  • @CLK56100

The L98-a1 does not have gas parts

  • @CLK56100 sorry mate, yeh. your right i was having a moment of stupidity... im usually quite good at my rifle recognition.

  • u did it 2 slow

  • @frogbusters007 thats what happens when your a cadet, the people teaching you have no f*cking combat expierence and just teach what they learned at a range, not in combat

  • @jimmyhoffa9 Thats why its better to get taught by people who are from the RA. My detachment commander served in the TA as a light support gunner :D

  • GET THE NEW A2!

  • wow your slow as fuck

  • Didnt strip the gas parts tut tut tut

  • Comment removed

  • we did basics with the a1 and cocking handle is on the right side of the rifle, you use your left hand to cock the weapon. but now 45 commando uses the L98A2 as the standard weapon i am a royal marine. my name is lance cpl. Dominic Ramsay. ive served in afghanistan, norwa, oman and belize. FUNFUNFUN

  • @DEMONFREAK93 Bollocks, grow up and stop making up shit.

  • wrong right hand alsways stays on the butt off the gun incases the spring flys out and left hand also stays on the butt of gun to list it off corectly !!!!!!!!

i am sorry to tell yo but you failed your WHT beter look next time !!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ZzST0K35YzZ1 its not a gun, its a rifle

  • Dust cover.

  • jesus christ! has nobody noticed he forgot the shitting gas parts?!

  • @marsupialbeige this was 2 years ago, its the a1

  • FORGOT THE GAS PARTS! HOW DARE YOU?

  • @SierraGolf017 l98 has no gas parts unlike the l85

  • @lukehewings1 Yes it does...

  • @SierraGolf017

The A1 has no gas parts. The great big cocking handle gives it away ;) The A2 however has gas parts and it is part of the WHT to strip and clean them.

  • I hate this weapon.. skinned my knukles when cocking it soo many times.. Much prefer the new one..

  • ur gay

  • you dont have a clue, you have to take out the gas parts

  • u didnt even remove the gas parts???

  • The L98 A1 rifle has no gas parts (plug, cylinder or piston/spring assy)...

  • im in ACF u didnt do ur NSP before, there could have been a round in the chamber

and u didnt take out the gas parts

  • Dude I am in the acf you didn't do a check on the weapon for all you know there could have been a round in the chamber and why didn't you take the gas parts out ?

  • @wpesteve He is using the L98A1 which had no gas parts, however you are right he did not carry out the pre-strip safety and did not check the barrel of the rifle before reassembling it.

  • @praetorian65 thx i am sorry for the mistake we only use the a2 :)

  • @FrontlineFighter101 Go fuck yourself and learn something!

  • NO pre strip check and I am pretty sure that this lesson in the manual is listed under the heading of restricted and later protect. This should not be online.

  • lots of fucking stupid comments from people who know fuck all on here.

  • AH, I see. Hes using the A1, which has no gas parts. Also, Cadet ranks wear rank slides.

  • @dymonddude1 he's a corporal notice the rank slide :)

  • @funnyguy071 he really shouldn't have a rank slide it's supposed to de adult instructors only or thats what i have been told anyways

  • your meant to put your hand over the back when lifting the body so that the recoil rod and spring dont fly out and hurt someone

  • i can do it with the gas parts and function test with my eyes closed so easy

  • y did u not do the functions test!

  • way to forget the gas parts

  • forgot the gas parts

  • Comment removed

  • what rank r u ??

  • when you took off the tmh you was ment to cup your hands over the back incase the recoil rod sprung out, we get battered if we miss that at our det

  • you forgot the gas parts you belend.

  • Comment removed

  • @michaelmccormick100 its semi automatic

  • @michaelmccormick100 LSW!!!! COCKSUCKER

  • @Thedeathmetalshit nope the LSW is the light machine gun.

  • @michaelmccormick100 your the result of someone that plays to many videogames, LSW is NOT a light machine gun , IT IS in fact a fireteam support weapon, goodnight bitch.

  • @Thedeathmetalshit BAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Forgot the gas parts :/

  • @101niicky this is probably the l98a1 then :)

  • ok im a army cadet 3 star cpl and yes the air cadet are not as good as us but it is a A1 and it does not have gas part on the A2 o LSW

  • @devon392 ok your right but air cadets are better ive asked like 20 of my freinds who go army cadets from my school and now 5 of em go air cadets and the rest wanna leave lol

  • I wish the U.S would adopt a bull-pup......

  • u forgot the gas parts and u didnt put ur TMH pins back in (tut tut tut) ((im an army cadet)) >.< we are better in every single way :D

  • Loved shooting these on the range, just like firing a bolt action rifle lol.

  • bloody hell, this is the A1 model. shit thing

  • See, the ATC are a load of wank-shite. The ACF are taught how to do it properly. Firstly, you shouldn't just cock the weapon, you should do your NSP but not fire off the action. Secondly, as previously stated, you should cuff the butt of the rifle so the "recoil rod and spring assembly" does not fly out. If I were to be testing this cadet, I would fail him. Finally, you should do the functions test to ensure that all parts are working correctly, and efficiently. Always check the safety catch too

  • @Smitty932 we are only being told what to do, sorry if its wrong

  • he's ddone it short he hasn't took all the gas parts out

  • @leicestertigerstrigg because it is an a1 version not the new a2

  • Oh do get a life.

  • if you're going to make a video do it properly, you have to cuff the rear of the weapon so the spring doesn't shoot out and hit someone or thing and plus it's a l98a1

  • Hehe, A1, no gas parts. I love all the fails who put the gas plug in with the plunger at six O'Clock. Have fun buying a new rifle my friends :3

  • the pins were a pain in the arse to get out

  • Gas Parts ??

    @adrianchko All A2/Sa8o/Ln8

    Have Gasparts.

  • @dymonddude1 Thats the A1. it hasnt got gas parts lmao

  • you didnt strip the gas bits

  • @dad5101520 This is an L98A1 Cadet GP. It doesn't have gas parts.

  • wtf! i nearly got kicked out of cadets for putting up a video like this cos its showing restricted info

  • oh i thought the a1 had cocking handle on the left hand side then the a2 moved it to the right? but owell i cud be wrong :S

  • good job Corpral :))

  • FAIL AT THE START

  • He only took apart the back he didn't even do the gas parts and stuff at the front

  • @J3ZZB3CK probably an A1

  • @0110Mikey its not an a1 because the cocking handle is on the right hand side

  • @boggol12 they all are mate. show me one that isn't.

  • @0110Mikey no its an A2 cadets don't use the A1

  • @J3ZZB3CK Its an L98A1 and we did us they A1s in 09 but not now.

  • @J3ZZB3CK your a nub this is an A1 as there is a cocking arm which the A2 doesnt have as it just has a tear drop cocking handle. The A2 is far better though and is now what the ATC use.

  • is this a2 or a1?

  • Dust cover and safety check

  • @killxbox101?????????? Spring thingy?????? Lol think u mean the re coil spring lol

  • He was slow n didn't even strip the firing pin block n messed around alot

  • Alright but you don't have to cry about it THENERFDUDE97 but call it what you wish, we as D coy nicknamed it the pigs-ear so if you don't like it, jog on, nobody cares, there is no right or wrong answer it's a nickname, get over yourself

  • Gas parts dickwod

  • @GetALittleJacko No Gas Parts in the A1 Dickwod...

  • @Duga125 Oh yeah soz about that, wasn't concentrating, didn't see the massive shitty cocking handle on this A1 lol the A2 'pigs-ear' cocking handle is soooo much better

  • @GetALittleJacko tear drop not pigs ear

  • lol, one of my cadets managed to total one of our cadet gp's trying to strip the bolt apparently, might have led to a ban!

  • slow cunt

  • what star level are you?

btw hooah Y coy 7 troop

  • @1337strelok

this is england mate, in the ATC we use sqn's and wings

  • I see they still don't let cadets strip the bolt too. I've had to fix more than I'd ever want to in one lifetime!

  • @felly20 really when i went to a camp at otterburn they let even basics strip the bolt and i was one of them

  • i did my weopons handling at manston

  • your supposed to cup your hand over the edge when removing the trigger mecanism housing to stop the spring thing coming out

  • i did my weapons handling at linton!

  • same, im only new to the cadets but last time i went we were doing halting, rightmarker and weapons skills testing and by far i was the fastest of my basic training group at the NSP

  • haha that particular l98 is only a single action rifle. every time you fire it you need to cock it again. we go ours replaced with the semi autos :D

  • erm... U FORGOT THE DUST COVER MWHAHAHWHAH! lol jokes

  • In the A2 you have to take apart the gas parts located in the hand guard. Piss easy.

  • you just failed your wepons handling test
