Not to mention all the historical violence in the bible is Old Testament, and not meant to serve as a guide to ethics. New Testament is basis for ethics. Whereas there is not such distinction in Islam - the qu'ran as it REALLY is, is the guide for all features of life, including laws, clothing, marriage.

Fitna was against Islamism. In Islam the Qu'ran is the word of God. In Christianity the Bible is a collection of books written by men. One is disputable, the other is not. State sponsored/petro dollar interpretations of the Qu'ran incite politically orientated radicalisation; whereas the Bible permits every individual to come to their own interpretation (this often leads to fracturing).
