I wouldn't advise washing a spaniel like that. They're prone to ear infections and if you get water in their ears, they could get an infection from it. But she's cute, none the less.

@TrinityGirl yeah i've heard of that too, to look out for the ears. but that was for all dogs.

Cavaliers always look sad, I'm sure JJ just hated the bath. One piece of advise tho' be careful of the water around the ears, you are asking for an ear infection. Sweet puppy!!!

OMG you dont wash their face you just go round their face and just clean their eyes with a bit of water if you want to wash their face close their eyes first

couldn't be more wrong. The face is the most important place to wash because of how it is used by the dogs and what they stick their heads into.

they were just using water. they werent putting shampoo on its face. cavs tend to have weepy eyes so they need the area around their eyes to be clean.
