@paintballgundown8 Apparently you aren't using the right LEDs because, if you get the right LEDs they are brighter and much safer. If you want to use LEDs you have to spend some money and get some from somewhere like V-leds.
@odlsc87 saw this vid watch?v=UOX0Rtpq5O4 and it changed my opinion. although having this much brightness seems overkill i am interested in the reverse lights. thanks for the info
@odlsc87 i admit i have never payed 20 bucks for an LED bulb but Its just experience that in daylight its hard to see an led. i havnt seen any high performance leds in real life. Most videos of leds always show minimal light thrown on walls and roads and dont actually project light outwards very well
@paintballgundown8 Before I put LEDs in my taillights you couldn't even tell in the day time they were on. Now you can see that they are on and at night the taillights light up a few feet behind me on the ground. I only use the radial firing LEDs and not the forward firing ones, which only have LEDs that face forward, for the lights on the outside of my car because they fill up the light housings and giving you better light coverage and projects it like a normal bulb would.
@odlsc87 and these were from vled? I would imagine a whole bunch of 3-chip SMD LEDs would have ability to make it LOOK brighter but my main concern is haw fat the light goes. Im gunna search into this and watch some videos. If anything ill get some turn signals and reverse lights for speed and brightness
@paintballgundown8 Yes I have only bought from V-leds. Just watch with the turn signals because you will probly have to get a new flasher or install load resistors to prevent hyper-flashing. For reverse lights I would probly look at something like their 7W LEDs. PM me if you decided to get anything from them or if you need anymore help. I might be able to get you a discount from them. My brake lights can light up signs that are 3 blocks away at night to give you an idea of how far they will go.
I recently added some led quad bulbs as my side lights and damn they are almost as bright as my main beams lol, so i ordered some more and added them behind my angel eyes and now dont need my main beam in town only on motorways and country, try looking for quad or more type bulbs on ebay...
it will be a while before LED bulbs are as bright and useful as halogen bulbs

LEDs dont project light, for turn signals i would MUCH rather a real bulb because they are more visible and thus more safe

Leds arent nessesarly brighter then Filament bulbs, especially if you got one of them Cheap Pep boy Leds,
Check out Autolumination d.A.t Com
and get a 36 led turn signal or something of that nature youll be happy with the brightness then
Stick with an LED just get an Led Bulb with Multiple Leds on it
