This is stupid and doesn't help anyone. It would have been much easier if it was viral, because we could design specific drugs to treat it. But it's not infectious. The only reason it runs in families is because it's genetic. Ever heard of that?
The CDC isn't covering anything up but wouldn't you controvercy lovers like that? Of course you would.
@lunaticbutnotcrazy Apparently you didn't watch the video, or missed the part about it being transmitted among casual contacts. And you are obviously clueless about the Congressional investigation into the CDC which proved they did cover it up and continue to do so.
@xmrvclockticking: There is no evidence that CFS is transmitted to contacts. Do you have some new study I haven't read that sais that?
It was an article published in Science that linked CFS to a virus called XMRS but it couldn't be replicated in other laboratories and the article was called off by its authors.
Now why would an organisation whose job is to watch out for health threats cover up something like this?
@lunaticbutnotcrazy Gee lunatic, the evidence is in the video and on record. And the CDC is not "an organization whose job is to watch out for health threats." It is a government department which serves the best interests of the government, not the best interests of the people. I have no idea "why" they do what they do and it is a pointless red herring to ask. Incompetence, arrogance, malice, budgetary considerations...take your pick.
@lunaticbutnotcrazy xmrvclockticking is correct. It is impossible to see inside the heads of the criminals at CDC, but possible motives, at least initially are arrogance, an attempt to save insurers money or an attempt to cover up viral causation if the virus was created by or spread by the government (biological weapons or accidental creation) or pharma companies (vaccines, accidental creation in labs). Once CDC lied to Congress for years about funding, they had to keep covering it up.
@justinreilly1 ok, I'll look it up. I want to do a presentation on chronic fatigue and all I'm interested in is the truth. Maybe I don't want to believe that the CDC consists of a bunch of criminals, it kind of messes up my worldview you see.
This makes tons of sense. I've been fighting a chest bug that was "going around" town. Most people had it a week max. I've had it for a month and it keeps hopping into every illness site my body's ever had. Opportunistic infections indeed! How to stay safe from infection contact seems to be the problem. Eating as healthy as I can. Recommend Epsom Salts, a soak for 12 minutes in 1-2 cups 3x a week...you absorb the magnesium through your skin-bath salts without the perfume, dye and price!
@xmrvclockticking I think he must have been been having a TOURETTES out burst. LOL. But your video is 100% accurate.. I don't know why he got all Riled up. I don't think he has done much studying on the illness... Just a bit trigger happy and was upset with the REALITY.. This illness is very similar to AIDS..and I was going to start using AMPLIGEN to see if It would help me.. I may still do so.. But it is not so easily Prescribed...I have considered SUING an entire HMO plan because of denial.
@xiheartpeeheex AT one time The medical community were considerng callng M.E. :" AIDS NEGATIVE""
My younger brother died in 2002 ( 36 Yrs old) from MS & M.E...One of my elder brothers now has all the symptoms of M.E..
We do not know how it's contacted . I Have had it since the age of 15.. No one I knew was SICK, So I thought there was something wrong with my HEAD ( emotions).. The truth is It is in the BRAIN so my original belief was correct,.I agree with you it is not a FATAL STD!
@xiheartpeeheex It was discovered that OP poisoning can cause excitotoxic brain damage and diastolic cardiomyopathy just as occurs with other forms of ME. There may be cases in which the pathogens are transmissable for a period of time after infection. XMRV, if it turns out has a role to play in pathogenesis, has been found in semen. Just because no one around has gotten it doesn't mean that pathogens are not being transmitted; we just don't know enough yet.
@xiheartpeeheex FYI, there are several subsets including viral, bacterial, OP poisoning, marine ciguatera (which is different than the epitope found in most patients which is an auto-immune marker) etc. Viruses involved (and there are many that may act as triggers and which do the damage to start the illness but are not necessarily causal) may not be directly transmissible and a number of them are likely zoonotic; so the situation leading to illness may vary.
@xiheartpeeheex Lupus patients test XMRV+. You say ''it's sure as fuck not fatal STD''. Interesting how you know this. Some ME patients die within 10 years of onset (.e.g. Sophia MIrza, Alison Hunter, Casey Fero]. Human XMRV injected into monkeys infects genital and others organs and causes an immune response. Retroviruses spread via blood, breast milk, saliva sexual fluids. XMRV has been detected in nasal secretions. Transmitable virus paper (blood transfusion causing ME) due this year.
P.S Secret files on M.E/CFS and the UK Medical Research Council, banned from public for 73 yrs. Google it. I'd love to do a Mission Impossible raid on the records facility but I'm too busy throwing up, diahhorea, wasting, gastro pain, backache, hypothermia, candida, sore throats, incredibly tight muscles, breathlessness, shakes, low blood sugar, headaches, insomnia, extreme fatigue+pain, memory loss, incontinence <that's an ave. day. On morphine and magnesium nebuliser. Some other lifetime eh?
@orwellreturning P.P.S Magnesium is often suggested for M.E and should be (imho) for fibro too. Helps relieve tight muscles, restless legs, anxiety, insomnia + more. Cheapest way and easiest way to get it is to buy Magnesium Chloride flakes online. Often sold as Nigari flakes by online food shops for making tofu. Exactly same thing. Dissolve flakes in plant mister of water, spray onto tight./painful muscles and rub in. 1KG will last you at least a few months, prob lot longer. About £7?
XMRV, Xenotropic Murine RetroVirus, is the theory du jour, but I don't subscribe to it at all, but if it holds up, then yes, AIDS, another retrovirus, is a cousin to this virus. So far, though, it's failed many attempts to validate (peer review) preliminary indications that it plays a role. Look up XMRV on Wikipedia if you wish to read more. Hugs to all those suffering the same living hell (CFS/ME) that I am.
@xmrvclockticking That's fine man.....I have CFS and suffer like everyone else, but I won't allow myself to go down a down end road where I kill myself with harmful Chemotherapy Agents in an attempt to kill a harmless virus.........i say this stuff out of Love.......in order to cure a disease, you have to 1. Identify the cause, and 2. Treat the cause........these 2 steps have been ignored with AIDS......there are people that have been cured from AIDS, but it surely hasn't been from taking AZT
ME/CFS is being call "non-HIV AIDS." So, yes, it is a type of AIDS, and the CDC has covered it up for more than 20 years. You have spelled it out so clearly here. The music adds to the focus and the impact of the video. Great work!
One thing to add about similarties with HIV/AIDS and ME/CFS is 'Crimson Crescents' in the the throat of patients with ME/CFS. (Usually a sign of HHV-6 infection/Kaposi Sarcoma in HIV/AIDS)..
Very well done! well researched! the entire CDC cabal should have been fired two decades ago. Their job is in their name "Centers for Disease Control". These diseases are OUT of control! in 1988, they claimed that 4 to 10 people out of every 100,000 had "CFS". now they claim it is 1 in every 40! even worse than what they say about autism! autism used to be 1 in 30,000, now they claim it is about 1 in 110.
I've shared it and will keep doing so. 3.46 made my blood boil...."no immune disorders"?!! My specialist and doctors would be even more angry about that statement then I am. Great video :)

ME is not CFS - Check out AHummingbirdsGuide to learn the differences. They are two distinctly different illnesses that have been lumped together.

Sounds like an excellent idea to me, tho I have to admit, I haven't been following it much (for aforementioned reasons, ahem!)
