I saw some other pots using the same technique but you said it true: For sugar, a little is a lot. And the horsehair, they had small wads, but I like this technique because it has a "coursing river" like effect. Kudos to you
Dang. I did some raku just last weekend. Wish this had been up on YouTube before then. I like the idea of heating a brick up and setting the pot on it. My pot shattered from thremal shock. More grog in the mix, slower oxidation next time.
what have you done to prepare these pots? are they just burnished, or just left alone?
