I watched a video about tires cracking due to them sitting on the shelves for over 6 years and by the time they are bought, the rubber is all hard and crack once they hit the road.
How old were your older tires? Newer tires always ride better, ( rubber has more elasticity, they aren't hardened, yet.. ) But I'm sure you knew that. :)
I have had some issues with running the kumho's, biggest one was tread wear! I was getting a third of the rated mileage on a NON sports car with PERFECT alignment and frontend parts, with rotating them every other oil change. def perelli is a WAY better tire. If someone cant afford the pirellis hankook is a good tire too.

I love my Pirelli tires, but no offence, that tire is somewhat ridiculous on a truck application like that. It is just too much weight for such a low profile tire. You would be better off with some 40s and a smaller wheel size. Potholes are now the enemy! They do look cool though.

Well yeah. I'm not big on the big off road tires either. but I mean...it's the extremes. Sure thin tires look good but when you start getting thinner than a few inches then it's just unattractive. Plus an SUV isn't supposed to have paper thin tires. They were made for and look better with the tires they came with. Give or take an inch or so. Not when it looks like it's supposed to be on a rail road.

Well yeah. I'm not big on the big off road tires either. but I mean...it's the extremes. Sure thin tires look good but when you start getting thinner than a few inches then it's just unattractive. Plus an SUV isn't supposed to have paper thin tires. They were made for and look better with the tires they came with. Give or take an inch or so. Not when it looks like it's supposed to be on a rail road.
