  • And all this time I thought you Dutch guys were just good painters. :-)

  • Dylan plays a much simpler guitar arrangement in standard tuning.

Its easier to play Dylan's version, but its not as impressive.

  • shit shit shit...explain something...... its like a concert..... are you a star??

  • well when I clicked your video titled "tutorial" I expected you to NAME the chords you're playing and showing them at least... if you just want to play a song don't call that tutorial but "cover" next time!

  • way to much fluctuation in ur voice and for a tutorial ppl would find this VERY hard to learn something at this tempo.

  • by the way I'm dutch!

    thats no excuse, hahaha

  • Not informative and the sound sucks, but the performance was rather good...Slow down the tempo a bit.

  • DADGAD is a classic open tuning for folk music.

Many of the chords can be played with one or two fingers.

I think the poster assumed guitarists would know, or at least be familiar with, this tuning. Based on some of the comments here, I would say he assumed incorrectly.

  • "btw I'm Dutch" Alsof we dat niet hoorden aan dat typische Hollandse Engels :-)

  • awesome Seagull. ive got the same one except mines a cutway.

  • dumbass

  • Your not from Kentucky

  • hah...brilliant

  • a tutorial is where you actually show us how to play the song, describe what you are doing, what cords.... etc. You are good at guitar, just explain what you are doing.

  • It sounds like he's trying to throw an Alice in Chains voice in there..

  • It would be helpful if you could just explain which three chords you are using and if it is possible try and re-shoot the video so that the guitar neck is always in view, hope these comments are usefull, regards Marco.

  • Dude, I dont think your accent is exactly right for bluegrass. but good job on the guitar

  • good, but poorly recorded. try again as I'm sure you'll sound cool. btw, please ignore the silly comments, ok?

  • The guitar sounds well-played, and he didn't claim to be a great singer. He's showing how easy it is to play stuff like that on the guitar, and he did that well. I don't see the people with the insults doing it any better.

  • ya that seemed lie a tutorial for smart people im a dummy and now i stikll feel like a dummy

  • by da way im dutch...

  • There are plenty of video's on youtube for Tuning to DADGAD. it's fairly easy and pretty useful.

  • That didn't teach that much. You need to show the fingering or atleast stay on the screen the whole time.

  • great english , great tutorial ! 10xz

  • If you actually play youd be able to pick up on it.. its a 1 4 5 in F.. so yeah you can just put your ownself into do what yo uthink sounds good around/within the structure of the progression.

  • Nice! Such a great song!

  • I thought this would be a tutorial! I'd love for you to just kind of sit down and show us how to go about DADGAD tuning, then help us with the chords and stuff...it would be helpful and I really would like to learn to play this. but just seeing you play and sing doesn't help me!

  • y'all -- it's DADGAD tuning...not standard tuning.

  • Brilliant broken Dutch-English! I know that from my politicians!

Cos btw Im Dutch too ;) And this song is real good!

  • DADGAD tuning
