  • new garbage emedentliy for this guys ... :s:SSSS

  • this is where borat comes from

  • He had to use a shovel to empty the bin, lol!

  • Comment removed

  • he has to climb up lol!

  • Back loaders were still used in most cities across British Columbia, Canada last year!!!!

  • It's POLAND!:D

  • you have to use a shovel.....really?!?

  • what do you do when you get to a call with 20-30 carts.Call it a day

  • that guys got his work cut out for him, great video, got to give him credit, good worker. 5/5+ :)

  • thats white trash

  • porzadna śmieciarka

  • thats different lol

  • czysta komedia....jak u"Sasiadow" ...ha ha

  • i like the company uniforms.

  • Sorry.. couldn't stop laughing. Love this old buggah.. imagine that.. manual labour sideloader.. guess i've stepped into the right age... Favorited though! Fantastic to see!

    tears in my eye now

  • Terribly ineffecient, but interesting nonetheless, thanks!

  • nice job

  • Thanks for posting, I have added a link to the CRT RDB. I have this company listed under M as "MWM Brzesko". Do you think this is correct, or should I list it under B as "Brzesko"

  • Great vid!!!! Rural route??? out in the country???

  • Terrific find! For some reason I like seeing inefficient garbage trucks (if they are old, it's different if they're brand new)! Extremely unusual method there! Never seen it done like this! LOL the truck would be almost useless without that shovel! Was it made to only tip so much that the bin is parallel to the ground?? When did you go to Poland?

  • If this truck was repaired, it would dump the bins completely. This body is usually used in parks, kind of like the Wayne Pup. There is another model (SK-2), used to pick up larger containers, but it looks almost identical to this one. It is much more productive. The company's website is on CRT. They also make a front loader with the old style Ez-Pack articulated arms, but I didn't get a chance to get video or pictures.

  • I agree with Squishdoll, I was thinking to myself there is definately a joke there somewhere! Very funny but an awsome video.

  • Here's an interesting truck. How did you go about getting this?? Nice job on it, strange how the lifter only tips it enough to make it parallel to the ground... then the spade comes in handy :D

  • how long ago was this video taken?

  • Very interesting video!

Good thing my girlfriend is part polish or I would start making all kinds of polish jokes about now!

This has got to be the silliest design I have ever seen. The truck takes the bins all the way to the top yet the guy still has to hook them manually then to top it all off, he has to use an old shovel to tip the bin...LMAO!

Then instead of packing the load, he climbs all the way up top to push the trash down and clear out the bin!

WOW, a few stops must take all day!lol.:)

  • yes, it is a bloody daft design mate!

  • Yeah, fun to watch though!

  • yesh thats agreed.

  • This truck is at least 30 years old, and was probably not made to work with these bins. This is a rural area outside of Krakow. Most of these residents used to burn and compost their trash. Smaller versions of this truck are used in the city to collect from trash cans along the street. The drivers take the bags out of the cans, ties them, and throws them up into the truck. These trucks are used because they are very affordable. Most collection is handled by rear loaders.

  • Bet those guys get tired tossing bags up that high all day!

I wonder why they just don't cut that side-wall down. We had similar trucks here in the states years ago but they were MSLs and had a low side-wall for easy loading.

    They were made by Pak-More...

  • Never knew PakMor made a MSL! Do you have any pics???

  • It's their cilindrical SL. It's available as a commercial SL, residential truck, or both. I think I have a video of one somewhere.

  • Cylindrical, sorry.

  • Oh yeahhhh! Forgot about those round body ones! Like the Truxmores...

  • Yeah, give me a few days and I will make a picture show of them and get them posted for you.

They were actually pretty awesome. A big round body and giant packer panel that went all the way to the back, full eject!

Unfortunately, I did not have a video camera back in those days so I only got a few pics...

  • Sounds good, I'll be checking! I would have liked to see one of those in action (in real life, or in video)

  • Yeah, I would like to see one again too!

I really miss them a lot!

I would probably be in big trouble if they were still around though, I would not get much work done!

As it is, I missed more school than I attended when I was young becuase of them, and some other favorite trucks. There was one driver who used to let me ride along on the step and at one stop I will never forget, I arrived late so he let me go into the body to save a bunch of stuffed animals after he packed them.

    VERY COOL!!.:)

  • I'm pretty sure they still make them. I saw a bunch of them on Chevy Kodiak chassis, both single and double axle, older ones and ones that looked to be brand new, in Gatlinburg, TN when I was passing through the area I found a video and will post it soon.

  • REALLY?

If you have any video of them in action and can post it, we would all greatly appreciate it!

Sounds like there are still some cool trucks left out there, problem is, none of them are left in So. California!

We got to have the most boring trucks around...:(

I know that there are still some Lodal EVOs on route in Northern California, but here#@!$#%!$%....:(

  • The trucks around here are pretty boring too. Most of our FLs and RLs and AFLs are McNeilus, the worst trucks ever. I can't understand why anyone would buy a McNeilus RL when the could have a Leach, Loadmaster, Wayne, or even Heil.

  • Because McNeilus is so big, has the marketing and offers the support the city's are used to dealing with these days. I agree, Leach is a much nicer rear-loader! At least you still have rear-loaders though! Only one city here still uses them and they use McNeilus's.

Everyone else uses ASLs mostly, Heil Rapid Rails, Amreps or McNeilus's.

There is a Wayne MSL/ASL conversion here I got video of the other day. It was a pretty cool little truck but it is the only one of it's kind here. Will post later

  • wow! great video! why is the technology so old on this truck?

  • I love the video. If it was me being the inventor type i would figure a way to make it dump completely.Hope you guys don't have a long route either way bins or bags looks like a lot of work. Thanks nice video.

  • Its a real hard work. Nice to see.

  • I love this truck!!! There's just one major flaw... NO PACKER!

  • There's a packer blade, he just doesn't use it yet because the truck is near empty.

  • Ok I thought there was no packer! Thanks for the info!
