  • The Second Coach has now arrived, and have both have been 'jacked' from the temporary track, laid by the transport company, to the permanent track laid by Aln Valley Trust. The Heritage Centre at Bellingham, 20 April 2011. New video (Part 2) here.

  • I don't want to sound critical but... Oh dear - Why weren't Allelys used as recommended? and a EMU in Northumberland - hmmm.

  • @RustonDave Thank you for the comment. We believe we made the best choice possible in the circumstances. The coaches will give us terrific extra spaces for displays, including our 'Wannie Line' (Wansbeck) exhibition, and talks, and work with school groups and young people; and, for the first time, a tea room. That is, once we have cleaned them, refurbished them and refitted them...! Even the non-railway buffs among us are excited. We have six very busy months ahead of us. New video next week.

  • With best wishes to all involved in this enterprise.

  • @HeritageTrain That's very kind of you - we appreciate it.

  • A great start - well done to all involved

  • @MarcusFalco Thanks for that - much appreciated.
