  • that is not right. that happend to me but in hockey. amazing videos keep it up.

  • i like turtles...

  • i understand the philosophy behind the rule but at the same time i agree with you. if he is going to ball out on the field and get told he cant do that....i don't know that seems opposite of what should be said. He is a great athlete and he has such a bright future. i can see both sides though. good post.

  • i agree with your argument about this madre hill thing

  • I came to agree once again! I also wish you luck with the video shoot with Jack Vale. He seems like a nice guy!!

  • you make many valid points about this issue. will it ever change? I hope so

  • I totally agree with you about this. Thank you for posting this. The boy deserved to stay in the game

  • I see they make it hard for kids to be all they can be these days.

  • The kid should be playing grade 7 games....If he is too good for his age group, move him on up for more of a challenge. Hes gonna go places, and this would help him

  • totally agree with you

  • what do they do with those that excel l in academics, I guess they make them sit in the hall way or suspend them for some day so that the other do catch up

  • If you watched the video they say it wasn't a punishment....

  • @AgentSquare sounds like if they said that they are in denial!! sugar coating the truth!

  • right on brother! i feel what ya mean! good stuff!!

  • This entire thing is ridiculous, how do you improve your game if you don't play against someone with more talent? Answer is you DON'T. Natural selection is prevented from taking place. Soccer moms who are all bent out of shape, because they feel that this kid has some advantage, truth is your kid doesn't care or have the heart about it enough.

Teach to try harder, don't try lowering the bar to make it easier to be a winner, make them reach higher for it. That's where a true success lies.

  • Also in Canada there is a rule for soccer that says if a team goes up MORE than 10 goals ahead of the other team they actually LOSE the game. for example you could have a 11-0 loss when your team scored 11 goals

  • design plays to incorporate him but not giving him the ball all the time. Use him as a tool to make your other players stronger and overall developing your whole team. But benching the kid doesn't help your team grow along with him

  • it's kind of a stupid situation.

    1. I don't think that the kid should HAVE to be benched. It doesn't help him develop and it also hurts his team. But at the same time he won't really develop a lot more since he doesn't have any real competition on the opposing team.

    2. I do think that the coach should make a decision to take him off the field at some point so that 2nd strings get some reps in when the game isn't on the line.

    3. It's not a fair rule but at some point the coach also needs to

  • It's sort of the coaches fault... all the plays revolve around him.. they pass, he runs, he scores... the coach should make plays that involve the other kids instead of benching him

  • I agree with you! kids should not be punished for doing good.

  • That's a very stupid rule. I think whoever came up with that rule has no self-esteem and they never excelled anything and they don't want to see anybody excel either. They need to ban that rule it's ridiculous. His excelling and scoring touchdowns to help his team win is a good thing. For them to bench him is just plain stupid. He has his priorities straight that is for sure. I say congratulations to him and his parents. Keep up the good work young man

  • It is bull, next it will be your too smart sit down and drink some alcohol and kill those brain cells! we don't want you to find a cure cancer or anything like that.

  • The rule stinks. The kid maybe the next Emmitt Smith,John Riggins,Jim Brown,Larry Csonka,Tony Dorsett,or even better than the late great Walter Peyton.Imagine how many colleges will be knocking on his door if he leads his high school team to back to back to back to back state titles. And he lead his NFL team to win the most Super Bowls.

  • We, shoul;d never stifle children from progress and success., by punishment with stupuid rules. Those who never wish to succeed are the ones get the punishment, for they never try!

  • WOW That's just wrong and stupid

  • omg this is stupid they could be getting rid of the new david beckham

  • great video man! Looking forward to your next comedy skit!

  • is it possible that the coach has got bribed by someone to make sure his own team wont score because people have betted money, or something like that,

you know where im going with that,? that kid should not have been benched,

i say there is more to it then just someone saying its against a rule, who made the rule up? and why? i really think there should be an investigation by an outside agency, i smell a rat, thanks for posting your video, i enjoyed it

  • dude it's called the mercy rule. when i played football when our team was completely dominating the other team we would put the second string in. gets the younger guys experience and it's the honorable thing to do.

  • great video!! some rules just plain suck!

  • Never knew there was such a rule until now.

  • @WonderfulPets That rules is not really helping kids self esteem!

  • @kd4sai ey man i got a question are u a cop?

  • dude you got that right! glad to know I am not the only one who feels that way

  • @TheKingofTVs2 Thank you for watching!

  • @TheKingofTVs2 It's not a punishment!

  • I agree with you! kids should be rewarded for their good efforts and not punished.

  • @VegasGirl933 Thanks!

  • realy what is that!?!?!?! what is wronged with thses people?

  • @lildancer280 It is pretty bad when kids get punished for playing too good!!

  • i can definably relate to that one. been there and done that

  • @coolestchefs4u Thanks for sharing your opinion here

  • You have a valid point about this. kids should be encouraged not discouraged.

  • @americanhero120 Thank you! I am happy to know that other people feel the same way about this situation!
