1 year ago i wanted this phone sooooo much, than i buyed it and saw that is not a good phone, so laggy and slow inet very slow... i hated it, symbian ist the worsest shit ever, than i saw the htc desire s and wanted it too bought it 2 weeks ago, and i can say that this is a perfect phone, if u had android or iphone u never want go back to this symbian shit, nothing agaains nokia but the system is very important, test it guys so u will see self

I have 5800 and it is really slow and unexpressive phone. Then i bought the iPod Touch 3g and everything fell into places. It's really amazing! If you dont know a phone to choose and have not enough money for the Iphone, buy any cheap phone for calling and texting AND iPod Touch for music, beautiful apps, mcdonalds wi-fi internet surfing e.t.c.

@LUPTON950 lol, after using the phone for 12 months you call it shit. that tells something about you yourself. its not what u have, it's rather how you use it. in my case i love it. it's slower than my friends brand new iphone 4g, but i'm free to do anything i want with it. mostly i love free bluetooth mp3/mp4/picture connection and hsdpa internet. so i love it :))

@Softheart15 oh oh, regarding the touch screen i wouldn't be so fast. apparently resistive is so ugly, but, in cold freezing day i could take stylus and type my sms, or i can just type/navigate using without the taking my gloves off, something you can't say about the capacitive touchscreen.

@georgilegend1 definitely go for the nokia 5800 xpressmusic.....the nokia 5530 doesn't have 3g support, gps, carls zeis lens for its camera, and it doesn't have a secondary camera for video calling.....also its screen is slightly smaller than the nokia 5800 xpressmusic.....so definitely go for the nokia 5800 xpressmusic without a doubt!

one tip guys - use a fingernail instead of fingertip, it's much easier with the resistive touch screen. Less chance damaging the screen with big heavy pushes too. It quickly becomes a habit ^.^

he is right.. try using it with fingertip and you'll see that only a few times will it respond.. fingernail is much easier. 5800 rocks .. is one of the greatest phones ever made. great screen and resolution good speakers good memory and feels great in the hand unlike the iphone/.. and of course reasonabe price

and better than making sure you have at least one fingernail unclipped so you can use it, you could always use the stylus supplied. it's a bit hard to get out at first but it makes web browsing easier. i'm so glad i bought this rather than an iphone. so much more value for money than that overpriced walkie-talkie ipod. the 5800's new v40 firmware seals the deal for me, officially the best phone i've used. won't be giving it up for a long time
