@TheSonicGod There is. At least in Hill Top 1 and Mystic Cave 1. Waiting 2 seconds to reduce the time bonus saves a few seconds in tallying those 40000 extra points. Casino Night 1 and Oil Ocean 1 are too close for me to tell w/o a stopwatch. But I think the 19:55 count simply adds up the game-reported times.

Not even the water in chemical plant could keep up with Sonic. At the boss battle, it was like "oh shit! SOnic's early?! he's never early! Wait for-...oh damn, the battle's over?!"

could have saved ALOT of time not gettin the 50,000 time bouns. tht takes like 10 secs to count up.

waiting to hit the checkpoint at times 23 - 29 secs woulda trimmed a few secs off the total time

This has got to be one of the best, if not THE best, of the Sonic games. I have fond memories playing this and having my brother grab the second controller to play as Tails. Very innovative for its time.

@wilecoyote87 This is the best Sonic without a doubt! It went slowly down hill after 2 if you ask me. I still can't believe the Megadrive can produce music this good. It still sounds good today
