the reason the car was so cheap is simple supply/demand,  lots of them made but not a lot of intrest, a riggs fan like my self would gladdly pay 25-30 for one

Yeah, this one's from ebay, but I get my 1/64s from diecastcarsnow, this website in the UK, and ebay sometimes :)

Nah man, I dont have NASCAR 09 (didnt dig the fact that it had generic cars rather than Chevys, Fords, Dodges etc) - I found it simply by searching Daytona International Speedway on Google :)

Yeah, he used to drive this #10 car way back in 2001-2003, before Scott Riggs got in the car for 2004 onwards :)

Yeah, took them a little while to send out the replacement but still, well worth it :D Ahh man, I hate it when that happens! They've still got it on diecastcarsnow, thats where I got mine from :)

yes normal for newer cars are 60 to 75 but yeah you got a great deal the book is about 20 bucks you can get it online or in some book stores!!!

was for 1:24 and 1:64 but hey stopped doing the 1:64 and just the !;24 the elites are the same as Platinum but have tethers and are slightly more detailed

Actually I have a couple of Elite 1/64 cars, in the nice black padded box? They have slightly more detail than the normal Platinum 1/64s, you're right, like wiring in the motor and more interior detail and stuff :)

elite's have a few more details, fancyier packaging, usually lower production #'s there for cost more

I know man! I saw it on ebay and was like "WTF?! Surely its not that cheap?" and i bought it and was expecting to have like no box, and be a bit like beaten up and stuff, but when it arrived in full packaging and in pristine condition my jaw dropped. I could barely believe it. The thing itself cost $5.99, with and extra $15 or so on for shipping. Incredible. It's sitting over next to my bed right now, I love it :)
