lol...perhaps it'd be better if they followed the ''recipe'' of 80's legends, and break up for a while, then regroup, so everyone can be excited bout hearing them again...
i loved metallica in the 80es and early 90es when they had awesome shows with bass solos and cool cover songs, beer and stuff..those were good times. now after half an hour of listening to them the ''fuck yeah they re metal gods '' expression on my face fades away, especially when lars fucks up

personally, i thought metallica were good but lagged a bit in the middle. i honest to god enjoyed Guns n roses more. and on a side note, tool were terrible. best bands of the weekend? cathedral, 36 crazyfists, hatebreed, throwdown, and soulfly were surprsingly fun aswell!
