  • Why shoot if the coyotes are not harming you and yours and maybe just keeping the raccoon and mouse population down

  • Just now I heard that so I went out side and yelled "hey". then they all stopped so I said it again and one growled at me from my backyard...

  • sounds like a fight lol

  • I heard this sound last night when no one was awake at about 1 AM and i had no idea what it was and i almost died cause i was so scared!!!

  • @slapyourfacey : Understandable. The first time *anyone* hears a coyote, it makes their hair stand right on end. But it's just their natural sound.

  • I hate to break it to you, Youtube, but that isn't "talking." it's demonyipping.

  • that one coyote was getting nailed XD

  • My grandparents have a sick one livin in thier woods:( it makes wierd caughing noises and threw up blood in thier driveway saturday in mid daylightD:

  • just listening to this give me chills down my back the other day we were campin in our back yard we herd th exact same thing my grandma said oh S*** get ur sister up. and we ran into the house

  • I just heard that outside past the fence in the woods behind my house. Oh wow...it sounded like there were 15. I'm scared to let my dogs out now D:

  • my jack ressel scared a coyote eating a cat

  • I heard there was a noise called the Coyote Bugel. and it sounds horrible (as a park ranger said it sounded like someone torturing a sasquatch).

    I can't find it anywhere!

  • When howling or barking both the coyote and the neighborhood dogs are revealing territory. Coyotes will start the positioning with a howl. This is a warning to other coyotes and in this case the neighborhood dogs. The dogs will then respond with barking as if to say, "I'm right here and this is my territory." In most cases the coyote's will respect the responces of the other coyote's or dogs. However, food can always change any situation when dealing with preditors of any kind. Great sounds!

  • when thay start up in my area the neighbors dogs get vary up set i live just a mile from huge farmland thay use this checker grid electric fences to keep thim away and from prying on livestock you can tell from a ordinary barb wire fence and an electricly energized fence sins thay will have this bright yellow caution marker pags on thim which also insulate the post from the fence so it dose not cause short circuit in the fence

  • When we first moved to the Vancouver area (Canada), I kept hearing this extremely weird, trilling and squealing sound out the bathroom window. It was so strange, like some kind of bird, a loon or something, except there seemed to be a lot of them. I noticed skinny old coyotes trotting around town, most of them looking pretty beat-up. They seemed solitary but must get together at night to tell stories. Or something!! Weirdest wild noise ever.

  • coyotes are everywhere there been even reported cases where thay have been seen in bustleing downtown city areas also

  • When we hear the coyotes, the neighborhood dogs get really quiet.

  • I could listen to that every night.

  • Beautiful :D

  • OMG that is such a beautiful noise

  • i heard something exactly like this one night

  • Thanks for posting this. I woke up last night to this exact same sound outside my window. It was pretty freaky! At least now and know what it is!

  • @krisversdahl SAMEEEEE !

  • They r barking out my window right now! It only lasted for 5 min. though. . .it was freaky and cool! It sounded exactly like that to!

  • I hear these all the time at night...they spook my cat into coming back into the house. Nice quality recording, whenever I try there's always so much background noise.

  • I grew up on a ranch and used to hear these sounds a lot while trying to go to sleep at night. In a way, its soothing to me now. heh

  • i have those all around my house. what are they eating. yipe yipe yipe. i saw a wolf the other day to. he was staring at my dog from 30 feet away in a lying down position. staring like, i dare you to cross that line dog.

  • the quick barking, yiping are coyotes. the hooow-hoooouu, are the local neighborhood dogs, i can only imagine they just found a kill and are getting in order to eat. once they stop yapping, and silence sets it, its food time, and other dog noises are from local dogs just doing their thing dog stuff. i will try another nite to get more material if i can, one must be ready to shoot, sometimes they dont show up or do,and go buy quietluy, i am amatuer at thisits natures, they are our friends,

  • Wow totally different from what I thought

they would sound like . I always think of one howling to another ,never in unison

    thanks for sharing !!
