The eurodance group that impacted America the most though was Real Mccoy. On the other side Eurodance was popular in the 90s but not extremely popular, in New York at the time NYC was revolved around Freestyle music, a new genre created in brooklyn by DJ's that looped beats and made there own piece of work, hence the word "Freestyle".
