Lip syncing is so prevalent in the music industry today becuase everyone needs to be entertained while listening. 11/20/2010 MILLI VANILLI were great performers it does not matter that they did not sing they sold the music that was very good because of their beautiful appearance . Poor Vanilli. He was young, broke and starving when some slick svengali showed up to flash a contract with fame and fortune attached to it. Anyone who talks crap, can kiss my ass. As if you'd turn down the opportunity. That producer was a dick for blowing everyone out of the water like that. It wasn't his career and LIFE that suffered as a result. RIP Vanilli!

@JackOfferlott I absolutely enjoyed these tunes in the 80's and still do. It is really sad that these fellows where literally the whipping boys for lip syncing. Lip syncing is so prevalent in the music industry today becuase everyone needs to be entertained while listening. Whatever happened to listening, enjoying and letting the music take you (mindfully) somewhere else. We are the ones that are truly screwed up because of the unrealistic standards we hold artists to.

@Lakis177 1.They're not (both) Germans; Fabrice 'Fab' Morvan spent the first 18 years of his life in France, mainly Paris, where he was born.
2. There are many Germans & French whose English is better than that of many Americans.
3. Many people of various tongues are able to sing in a language they can hardly make a sentence in dialogue. Just ask the Chinese pop pretenders.
So people aren't really "stupid" to get duped like that even after they've researched the artiste's bio.

This is such a simplistically structured song there was no need to 'fake' the vocals yet the producers did it anyway out of pure laziness!!
Maybe if Milli Vanilli had become stars in their own right and avoided scandal Rob would not have killed himself out of shame and embarrassment. :'-(
