Alright, I thought we needed to clear something up here... The audio for this video is right from the soundboard, which is why Eric's vocals and piano are so clear. Therefore, you're not going to hear the audience very clearly. And keep in mind that this was a smaller, private performance, so there were probably... 50 people in the crowd.
