  • wtf? where was i when this happened?

  • dude, it was so crazy. It looked like a postapacalyptica movie. Rained ash, skies were red, people walking around with gas masks. Businesses and schools were closed. All for a week. The whole damn county was on fire.

  • Yes I Remember That Day Like It Was Yesterday. It Was So Bad That There Was A Thick Layer Of Ash Every Where And On Top Of Peoples Cars. The Sun Was Faded Through The Thick Smoke And The Air Was Very Unhealthy To Breath. I Too Took Video Of That Day And Living Here In Oceanside, Ca I Have Never Seen Anything Like It. Been Here Since 1974.

  • the fire was about 10 miles away from you,

  • Fuck Santa Ana! That shitty place was the reason all this shit happened!

  • I love the color of the sky. I am glad that people around the San Diego area video taped the sky during the wild fire because usually the skys don't tend to have sweet looking colors like that. Just be careful though.

  • The winds are coming back! Google Ontario Weather Service for the most accurate forecast on them.

  • ontario I DONT LIVE IN CANADI FUCK BAG!!!!!

  • i live in encinitas. and i know other people besides white people. yes the MAJORITY is WHITE. and i do NOT like encinitas. but i personally know there are other people in encinitas than white people. theres a lot of messicans too. =X haha.

  • The Fire Fighters did a Tremendous Job!

    The Policitians were Absolutely Awesome!

Nothing wrong can be found as Arnold said so eloquently!

    Californians are the best peoples!

My heart and my prayers go out to the victims of the Crazy Wild Fires.

I am glad they had the greatest minds on the job to see so many evacuated and so many homes destroyed.

As president Bush would say. "Great Job"

  • Our prayers are with the families of the burned out may they not feel isolated; our prayers are also with men and women, as well as their families who are on the lines risking their lives whilst fighting these incendiaries. It is time for all of us to reflect unity over discord; calm over rage.

  • its natures way of cleaning itself, its been happening for hundreds of thousands of years, its not going to stop because people are there, we just have to live with it. Sorry but its the truth.

  • people are fucking retarded that dont live in San Diego. people lost theirs homes, and everything they had. dont go saying shit like global warming, you liberal pussy.

  • it was not global warming or terrorists.

it was a group of teenagers who didnt feel like going to school so they decided to kill people and destroy homes and thousands of acres just because they thought school was dumb when they could just commit suicide!!

  • You are one piece of shit garbage to say something like that. If you curse our country you might as well be cursing your country as well asshole. Instead of wishing people well, you are wishing them ill. What goes around, comes around...Karma. Just remember that.

  • who are you to judge God's decisions?

  • I agree burniec :)

  • burinec, you are so stupid. The police have already killed one suspected arsonist who tried to ram the police car and the police is still hunting down the other arsonists who set a few of the other fires. Those arsonists are no God and you don't believe in God but your god of hate.

  • I can tell you that there are a lot of long-time locals here who are not wealthy, they struggle to get by, but they stay because they tuly love their community. We need to continue to pull together as a nation during times like this, care about one another and stay positive. Thank the firefighters and the volunteers...they are doing amazing work right now while you are on your computer.

  • not everyone whos house is burning is rich...

it pisses me off that the media is caring that sean pean and brittney spears' (God forbid) houses are at risk...

my hubby's grandma (not rich by any means) lives there....and i feel for her

so please...dn't post comments like taht pezcore64....

  • offer your prayers to the people affected by this fire, im sure you wouldnt like it if your houses were burnt down

  • Do any of you think this could be a terrorists attack so many fires

  • george w bush the best!

  • DRY lands BY GLOBAL WARMING ... AND a jackass taking advantage of that to COMMIT ARSON. get it right.

boohoo, their bmws and mercedes are burning in their driveways.

  • Dry lands due to Southern California being a desert. One that looks nice due to irrigation, but a desert nonetheless.

  • Arson...not Global Warming :P

  • due to global warming... praying

  • Oh please. Due to ARSON!

  • yep it is Arson. global warming has nothing to do with it.

  • The authorities in Southern California are unwise not to do enough to encourage people living in high risk areas to become volunteer firefighters before this devastating fire. Shortage of firefighters is one of the main reasons why so many homes are lost and the regular firefighters had to keep on fighting fire to the point of complete exhaustion while many able men had to evacuate to watch their houses burned down.

  • the atmosphere kind of looks like its a sandstorm but alot less windy than one... sandstorms suck so bad.

  • This is a rich man's Katrina.

  • i hope everyone is ok

i pray for all of you people

    hopfully it will end soon

  • yea, seriously, listen to itybitymom. this is a problem that many people are facing right now. i live right near where the san marcos fire was, and the other ones were just as bad. fortuneately my house has not been burned, but many others' have been, so go take ur insecurities somewhere else.

and for those of you who say that people here deserve it, why don't you try coming here and saying it to their faces?

  • why fight and act this way, whites, blacks or what ever race you are. we need to come together and pray for this people who are loosing there homes. they may be rich and all by they are loosing everything they have worked for. my thoughts and prays are with all of you.

  • LGHHJHH, your comments make you just like the people you despise. How would you feel if it were your family and someone said you deserve it and so does your entire race?

  • you obviously don't live in san diego because there are more than just white people living where the fire is, but even though they're mostly white people there are also other races

  • Theres more black and latin (asian, etc) people in southern california then caucasions. But your right most of them live in the slums, safe from the fire.

  • screw you, i lost my house.

  • Yow! I'm sorry to hear that. Hope everything turns out okay. I'm just east of the fire, so some poeple might consider me lucky, but now the smoke is coming over here. All my prayers are with those who have had to deal with their homes getting destroyed, and some might be for the fire not coming over here...

  • This reminds me of how El Cajon looked 4 years ago during the Cedar fires. Creepy.

  • yeah, i drove right through that one!

  • wow

  • Dude FATIGUEDOUT thats how Tueday 10/23/07 morning was. Tanish, orangy color. The sun was redded out. And the air was hardly breathable. Thats how the day was. the camera doesn't lie.

  • LOOKS LIKE MARS
