A few weeks later Duff got a phone call and was asked by someone if they could use the name Duff for a brand of beer. He said OK and then it ended up being Duff man from the Simpsons ;) I've read it in Duff's autobiography if you're interested ;)

More importantly and a much better band are Rudoplh Schenker and Klaus Meine of the Scorpions at the beginning of this clip....Scorpions always did sound better live than GNR and Klaus is a singer whereas Axl is a screaming lunatic. What the hell did GNR ever do?..put out 2 good albums, Appetite and Lies...that's it....Scorpions been around since the early 70s and put out many good albums....screw GNR

@saulhudson420 We all have our opinions and feelings about certain bands. But I would like to know how GNR "owns" the Scorpions when the Scorps were putting out albums LONG before GNR even existed. Scorps were a huge band back in my school days in the 80s and still draws a crowd(now on their last tour). I saw the Scorps in the Air Canada Center in 2003 with a full house, 18,000+ ppl....and as usual their sound was unbeatable...I can't say that for GNR back in the day. Scorps, 1973-2011 beat that

The Scorpions are good, I got nothing against them, and like you said, it's an opinion, but all I can say is: Guns n' Roses had attitude like no other. They redefined the 80's. No punk ass 80's glam band could match Gn'R. The only sincere 80's glam band was Motley Crue, and as much as they kicked ass, I don't think they compared to Gn'R. Gn'R had style, attitude, individuality, and diversity.
