hi i would like to buy a professional videocamera in the near future, but i lack the knowledge of these cameras. i would like to make some fairly high quality videos for myself and also videos for youtube? any suggestions would be appreciated Thanks....Martin
Yes there is a huge difference in picture quality when filming in low light, and you have considerbly better focus options on it than on the cheaper camcorders do to its considerably better lense and its larger sensors. It is the better focus options though that makes some people think it is a bad camera with a soft focus, because if you do not focus correctly you can get very soft pictures. A cheaper camera will show every thing sharp, but will be a lot more grainy in low light.
can I have an honest opinion. is there much difference between this and the small vixia $1,000 camera after adding external mic and get another lense.
How do you record from a video source? I'm trying to record the video source that's coming from an LCD TV to the camera. any help is appreciated. thanks.
videos are a great help but why the washy washy yellow background you'd think were in the 70's not to mention the worst background color for contrast. Why not identify the videos in sequencial order for reference? Would have been nice to shoot something interesting , fella must be from the east coast?
I thought I was slow or something, but I cant seem to get the right order of the videos either. Some1 please instruct on how to view these vids in order from beginning to end. Thanx
No night vision, but it does have a preset for low light conditions. don't use it if you have fast moving subject though, it'll look blurry. This guy has a video on each preset.
you the man thanks

Great job. is there a way to watch all the tutorials in a continuous way, rather than broken into these small parts?
