Rabbi, I don't know if we need to hate the wrongdoing, just that we want to change and correct the wrongdoing. It's not good to hate. I think in the early Hebrew scriptures when they say "God hates" the wrongdoer, this was man's attempt to know what God was doing, but they were somewhat incorrect. More rightly, we can say "God ignores" the wrongdoer, or that "God withholds his love from" the wrongdoer. I don't think God hates anyone. He doesn't need to.
