@GlompoFie Hello! I've been doing it most of my life really, on and off.. I mean I've always played with clay in my spare time and always concentrated on drawing and painting more, but over the past so many years, I've been dong a lot more sculpture. Still so much more to learn though! Always!
@EskimoEchelon30STM Haha.. Ah yes, I wish i could say that. There have been times when I say, 'oh I'm glad it came out that way..' but later on I say, 'okay.. what was i thinking?'
your work hypnotise me , it's so amazing , like a painting , patience and precision is the best key to a amazing art, sorry my english is novice !!! LOL
I love everything you do! I have watched most of yor vids and you have such great music choices and art choices! I am just amazed at the details on the sketches and the sculptures they are all so real! If I saw that when I came home one day I might run, it looks so real! You have inspired me so much thank you!
Hello! Ah, this clay is purely for baking in the oven. But on another note, if you let the clay sit there for a loooooooong time it will turn a bit crappy and crumbly.
@backstabber27th Ah yes, I used ink and varnish! And many thanks for your kind words.. your support means a lot to me my friend! I do apologise for taking so long in replying to you as well!
Hello Corrbin, thank you so much for your kind words! And to answer your question, for his model I used Super Sculpey only which is like a fleshy coloured clay.
I am simply astonished at your talent! I found myself doing deep breathing just watching this. You are so blessed with God given talent! My father was a sculptor, and I am dabbling in Sculpey clay, just starting out. But, never have I imagined this work. Never stop!
You're too kind my friend! I don't deserve such praise! So your father was a sculptor eh? Wow.. that must've been inspiring for you. And Super Sculpey is all I use! Great stuff to start out with too! Many thanks again :-D
I really love to do sculpture and start doing some reading but I'm very new with the art. I have some questions though (if you dont mind?: ). 1. Do you recommend the self drying clay? 2. What type of oven did you use? 3 how did you connect the wings to the body? did you use some epoxy or just clay &wire? How long did you bake the sculpture using the heat gun? Your reply is greatly appreciated. Thanks : )
This is truly amazing sculpting. Hah i love art and want to get into sculpting now! This was inspirational. I have a question though, can you buy Super Sculpey at craft stores or is it online only?
Hey alucardaj! Thank you for your kind words my friend! :-) Your words are too great! And yes, you can buy Super Sculpey from most craft stores, however I do recommend you searching online.. they're normally cheaper and freshly packed.
U R AMAZING! Ever heard that phrase....at first the artist is like god but then soon realizes that he is truly a slave to what he's creating? Seems fitting for u. Gosh, even the wire frame was art!!! I just wanna know what kind of clay. I must check ur site...;) THANK U for sharing!
Dude, this is insanely impressive! One of the best demo's I've seen. I'd be more than interested in seeing a slowed down version with some commentary, if you ever get the chance!
Hey nsane, I'd love to do a slower version except that I haven't got a normal video camera at the mo, so what I did was I created a time lapse movie instead. I totally agree though, it would be nice to have a slower version with commentary. I did actually have subtitles originally but it was very distracting so I took them off. Many thanks for your kind words my friend, it means a lot to me :-) Best wishes! Kenny.
Hey buddy, ah yes I use Super Sculpey which is a soft fleshy coloured clay that goes hard when heat is applied to it. Many thanks for your very kind words!! Best wishes :-)
this is great work i love fantasy and art myself though i have some bad habbits of having artist blocks from time to time. i must say that this is one of those videos and pieces that make me want to pick up my clay and tools and start working. great job i hope to see more of your work soon.
Hello MegaGalva, Ah yes, I can't stand artist blocks.. I get them from time to time, in fact the other night! I'm trying to design a new sculpture but it's a bit tough going for me! And yes, have a go at sculpting, it's fun! I find that using the right type of clay that suits you best will make it go a long way :-) And thank you for your much undeserved kind words my friend.

Amazing artwork! What type, and size of wire do you use to make the armature?
kitsuneshinigami6 2 years ago
Thank you so much! I used alluminium wire 1/16th of an inch (I think) It's very soft wire so it won't destroy your hands!
