  • Hey I need some help, how were you able to change the stereo because i've been trying on my 97 tacoma but have no luck whatsoever.

  • how much are you asking for the truck ....

  • I used to make fun of Toyota, Untill i got this truck! haaha

  • i hope they didnt sell it. it looks awesome!

  • why is there no RPM meter?

  • @P4ckerBacker52 they only made one gauge for the automatics and the stick shifts and it really isnt that hard to drive stick with a tac

  • the transmission of the 1995-2004 Toyota Tacoma

    Transmission

    4-speed automatic

    5-speed manual

  • This truck is nice at the beginning I thought the truck was scratched and the 4x4 was painted.

  • Me like

  • i want one!

  • on whatever terrain these things can go over 200,000 miles

  • the 1995-2004 Toyota Tacoma was assembled in

    Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico

    San Antonio, Texas, USA

    Hamura, Japan

  • great truck fun to drive

  • Did this gen Toyota Tacoma really not come with a tachometer? Am I missing something?

  • @Streetracingpunk72 if you had the sr5 package it did

  • @luckycraftsammy Thanks. Looking to pick one up for my parents and was curious. Thanks for the response. Not having a tach isn't a huge deal, but it's just kind of funny to be how easy it'd have been to just put one in.

  • @Streetracingpunk72 The base one didnt. It wasnt un-common for a 4 banger base truck to have that in the market at the time. The option cluster like in all 4runners of the time had a tach.

  • Pearl Jam Even Flow

  • my uncle got a 1988 tacoma with 545,560 miles on it and it still drives like its brand new

  • @Gglock45 They werent called Tacomas back then, they were just Toyota pickup! My 88 4Runner (same thing) has 262102.8 miles, rund great!

  • That horn is for gays!!

  • Toyota trucks never stop working! Funny, 5,555 veiws! lol!

  • How would you know when to shift?

  • @TankManer listen to the engine. Not that hard! I have a tach in my 88 v6 4runner, but hardly use it!

  • @TankManer you can hear when it needs to go into the next gear. the automatics do the same thing automatically, you can feel and hear it.

  • I appreciate the cab views.

  • Great video as always Kyle! Missed it when you first posted it,

  • Is it 2.4L or 2.7L?

  • @CharlieDoan I believe its the 2.7. They stopped making the 22re in like 94 or so I think.

  • Eechh Toyotas make me SSICK

  • @01Tahoe10 buy American then

I rather push the Toyota than drive American truck!

AND I AM NOT A JAPANESE

  • FINALLY, A GOOD TRUCK!

  • @sith4923

Oh believe me!,. If i could get a tacoma I would!

  • thanks

  • 4 Cylinder?, I'll stick with my 87 ford ranger,

  • @Mcguyber199 Ford Ranger? I'll stick to my Tacoma.

  • hello rusty exhaust!

  • kyle lets see the reatta!

  • this was definately a beaners truck

  • My uncle has one, except his is tan and has a leer in the back of it.

  • Nice little truck

  • not to shabby

  • A genuine Taliban Tank!

    5 Stars!

  • agreed!

  • All it needs is a big machine gun, some barbed wire on the grill, and a beaded seat cover.

  • You need to take the rims off, and just have bare hubcaps on it, true taliban tank!

  • Sounds better.

  • I love the geo-board cross-lines on the instrument cluster of the old Toyotas. Verrrry late 1980-ealry 1990s. Very Mark III Supra and Celica from the era of pop-up headlamps and two-tone paint.

  • Toyota trucks has been selling for a long time but Toyota doesn't seem to do too well in North America.

  • @pjtart is that y its so expensive for one of these...these late models with high mileage on them still runs about 6 g and up...Im sure toyota is doing well...

  • that officially tops the previous gen's honda cr-v for freakiest e-brake location ever hahahahaha

  • @OTHGirlsForever My 88 4runner has it in the same place. cool

  • i like them rims

  • My aunt's friend has a Tacoma. I believe it's a '99. It's a cute little truck. It has close to about 240,000 miles on it. I can say from being in that truck, the back is not comfortable at all. The seats are not even supportive.

  • Do u know how much this car is going for?

  • Why do you press the brake when you start the manual cars?

  • I guess the parking brake wasn't on. Also, it a manual, not an automatic.

  • @joshblair100 The parking brake was on, and he does that in all of his videos with manual cars.

  • @ElectroGhandi It could be that he just rests his foot there. I do that when I start my car, since it's kind of a habit to line up your feet with the pedals.

  • nice truck man! love these and some of these where recalled for the chassis rust out! its danerious

  • does it have the stuck accelerator option? lol jk,

  • @xxTornadowarrior1xx Yes, I believe that came standard.

  • LOL. thanks for clarifying that. ha ha ha!

  • toyota..making trucks...lol

so is the pedal stuck on this too?

    lol jk jk

im gona get a bunch of thumbs downs arent i XD

  • I wonder if the frame is bad. Because it might qualify for the frame recall

  • Toyota trucks are awesome. The best little truck ever! They kick butt!!

  • @rootbeerfan6 They are the best! 262,101 miles on my 88 4runner v6!

  • Ahhhh now these were the peak times at Toyota... Cars were simple, built like tanks and more reliable than anything else on the market at the time.

  • Great video Kyle ! Simple, rough and reliable truck.

  • Locking fuel door. Ive never seen that before.

  • @TJC450 the foreign cars had those for years.

  • cool vido can you do a ford eage
