training carriage had nothing to do with it. now it crashed due to training carriage hitting the blades but either your blades failed or was not balanced. once the blades are spinning at a high rpm theres pretty much nothing a training carriage can do to crash the helicopter. its all about downward force from air from blades. it will not allow them to move anywhere. vibration was from the helicopter plain and simple. learn to set it up right.
@ japie1996 Bullshit . Bigger Helis are easier to fly than the small shit. they are just more expensive that is all. Truth be known I didn't even need this stupid training undercarriage
ANOTHER TIP FOR A TRAINING AID IS A SMALL CHILDS HOOLA HOOP WITH BAMBOO BRACED ACROSS HOOP AND THEN HELD WITH PLASTIC TIES TO THE SKIDS WORKED FOR ME WHEN I WAS LEARNING TO HOVER AS YOU CAN SKID IT ACROSS THE FLOOR IT DOES NOT VIBRATE AND PROTECTS ALL AROUND IF YOU LAND BADLY. cost me 3 pounds for hoop and 75pence for bamboo bean stick cheap as chips :)
You had resonsance because something wasn't balanced correctly. You can see it in the heli first and then into the training gear. Sorry for the crash..
gee this looks like a fun hobby. Its costs like 1000 bucks to get one, weeks to build and tweak it and then about 5-10 seconds for the thing to tear itself apart for no good reason. Fuck that.
@Ignantredneck Just because something's not cheap and easy does't mean it not fun. Also heli doen't tear themselve apart for no reason. there is always a reason.

That's really bad luck - no way you could have predicted it. It's a tough step to lose the training undercarriage but you soon get used to it as you say. Interesting tip about the pool noodles. Thanks for uploading, and responding to my video.
Not a wooden blade failure, cause I am running Carbon (Funkey Blades) since I set it up. That;s the worst thing when you brak a set of decent carbon blades, you have just done $100 bucks or so.
damn...thats good to know tjtg..i started to do basic loops and rolls somewhere about 4 to 6 gallons of fuel..post some more of your video..would love to see you doing loops..
It was because of vibration due to the training undercarriage. most people are nowusing "pool noodle foam" as training skids. These skids are really good if you are just skating around on the ground, but once you take off and can hover a little, it is time to get rid of them. Don't be afrqaind to fly your heli, cause thats what there for. Once i got over my "fear" of crashing, I learnt really quickly and was flying basic loops and rolls within 15 flights. Thanks for the comment.
Yep, once it gets into an oscilation like that, it's done. Looked pretty tame for repairs anyways. Flyin helis is such a mind game, once you're past, oh my god the tail is away from me!, then you're fine. Forward flight is almost easier lol
Hahahahahahahah
Biggest fail ever!..

You do know that you had a wooden blade failure there due to high rpm? probably more than 1700 rpm i would guestimate! been there done that LOL
