AARP members should use the postage paid return envelopes included in all the mailings AARP is filling our mail boxes with to respond back to them with our thoughts - just in case they still think we are manufactured...lol

Joe and mtkowboy, what's even worse is how AARP administrators and officers are behaving. Forget words, let's judge them by their ACTIONS. In several local AARP meetings across America, everytime the dues paying members were given the microphone and started speaking against any proposed bills to date, the AARP chapter officers quickly moved to shut off the mike, move to another speaker or simply ended the meeting.

As I said, look at their actions, not just their words - AARP is backing it.

AARP members should cancel their AARP membership in protest to AARPs statements about the president being right on healthcare. AARP is selling their membership out and in the end will be a factor in seniors loosing benefits when congress pushes through a bill, a bill that AARP will benefit from, a bill that will deny care to sinors.
