  • Thanks for answering my question motiontraining. This is the way I do it, exactly as you say =B3*C3 plus the enter key, I started everything over again and am still getting the same error. Am using excel 2003.

  • I want to know why when I go into income and I mutiply the two cells I get the error value. Maybe somebody can tell me what is the problem, thanks.

  • Please post the calculation exactly as you have entered it and I'll try to help. The procedure for any basic multiplication is first click the cell where you want the result to appear then press the equals key. Next click on the cell containing the first value, press multiply (the * key) and then clisk on the cell containing the 2nd value. Finally press Enter. And that's it!

  • Thank you so much, you're the best! Keep sharing your knowledge!!!!!! :)

  • "Hope that was useful?"

    You're damn right it was : )

  • I've just been forced to take on a treasurer's position and this tutorial is a fantastic help! Thank you very much.
