I thought I would watch this to see what all the fuss is about. My friends daughters watch this or used to but they are upset that damon has murdered elena brother or something.
Unfortunately us Stelena fans have to deal with the Delena romance thanks to L.J Smith, but after that's done I just hope, prey, wish that in the last season the last episode of The Vampire Diaries she chooses Stefan. It feels soo real with him, with Damon it feels like she just feels sorry for him and because he loves her she falls for him. With Stefan it came naturally.. she told him FIRST she loved him even though we knew he already was in love lol. Damon should be with Bonnie.

Damon is the funny, charming bad boy that everybody falls in love with. With him there's excitement and passion but it's bound to get boring.

Unfortunately us Stelena fans have to deal with the Delena romance thanks to L.J Smith, but after that's done I just hope, prey, wish that in the last season the last episode of The Vampire Diaries she chooses Stefan. It feels soo real with him, with Damon it feels like she just feels sorry for him and because he loves her she falls for him. With Stefan it came naturally.. she told him FIRST she loved him even though we knew he already was in love lol. Damon should be with Bonnie.

No matter what anyone says or will say to me after I say this, Stefan and Elena's love scene right here will always trump any future Delena love scene's. Make's me sad knowing it probably wont happen for awhile now that Stefan sacrificed his life with Elena to save Damon. In the end it will be Stefan and Elena.

Idk, I guess some ppl are just attracted to the forbidden luv aspect...plus, they sympathize with Damon (despite the fact that he's a hot-headed killer & jerk)
But I prefer Elena with Stefan...cuz it's realistic, it's sweet, they're soulmates (according to the book) & I don't want Elena to be another Katherine, a slut who is willing to screw both brothers. Not cool.

Yes, I also think Delena is unrealistic because what kind of girl would be with the same man who killed her bro, turned her mom into a vamp, slept with her mom (that's just gross) tried to kill her best friend Bonnie, abused Caroline, forced blood down her throat, etc. Damon did the unthinkable TOO many times. He constantly hurt Elena & her loved ones. He calls that love? I'm not trying to offend delena fans but that's not love. That's psycho! If Elena gets with him PATHETIC is her new nickname

Stefan has ALWAYS been there for Elena and the people she cares about \, AND always go to great lengths trying to protect her. I prefer Stefan over Damon with Elena.
Damon is the funny, charming bad boy that everybody falls in love with. With him there's excitement and passion but it's bound to get boring.
Stefan should be the one she ends up with. He's caring, safe and selfless. Sure his character isn't as interesting as Damon but he suits Elena better. Just my two cents.

He forced her to drink his blood before the day she was going to be sacrificed which put her at risk of becoming a vampire, which was something she didn't want and he knew that. @Trelle211 i would call it desperation, and damon is changing and redeeming himself slowly, stefan was worse than damon, but he slowly redeemed himself and became the stefan we know now, damon is doing the same, damon made a mistake when he force fed her the blood, no one is perfect,but he made amends and elena forgave him. stefan sacrificed everything, including elena, to save damon,does that make stefan the bad guy? does that mean he doesnt love elena? he killed a girl in the finale is he bad?

And another thing that proves how selfish Damon can be is in the season 1 finale and how not even after a day that his brother saved his life, he goes over to his brother's girlfriend's house and kisses who he thinks is her.

this is the most beautiful love scene :). i am team delena though for many reasons one of the central ones being that stephen always gets the girl and damon has been left damaged from this. i also think they have real chemistry even when they arn't even kissing which i think stephen and elena need to produce chemistry. i do think that elena and stephen will end up together though but its a sad fact and i just hope damon can find someone else :(.

Damon is selfish. Elena loves Stefan because he is unselfish. Stefan would give up elena to save her. Damon would let people die to protect elena. elena will not let people die for her.
