fanciness doesnt make someone a good drummer or the best fit for a band. doing a fancy solo in hte middle of a hard rock song in KiSS or example would be weird. He is not a show off, his drumming is pleaseant and not too random, and he is a good rock drummer.
he is not incredible. Any rock drummer thats been playing solidly for 8 years can learn and do what he just did. im surprised he's not better than that
@shane69999 well i agree, any drummer playing for about 8 years can do that. but that isnt a drum solo, he is showing off some basic double bass pattern with fill ins. just search Drum Lesson: Double Bass Exercise featuring Eric Singer and youll get the same video, with a intro where he explains what he is gonna do.
