the clip is meant to be unscrewed and turned upside down. it has the picture of it like that on the original box. they turned it like that for shipping and packaging purposes
Same reason I came across this knife! Was interested in a karambit, looked good even though it was cheap. Seems like it would be decently practical (with a slightly longer blade length than some). I thought it was a sharp outside edge, too. Thanks for letting us know it's not, but that's something that can be corrected.
As for the steel, there's only speculation that it's 420J. You decide how rust-proof that is (probably sucky).
Also, shout-out to Kevinarmstrong1! Good to see him here.
@DemonHide Its 420JS almost NOT POSSIBLE to get it rusty! 420SJ Rather soft Stainless Steel but u can sharpen it EASY and RAZOR sharp, no rost at ALL, dont keep sharpness that long like higher carbon metall blades but u wont cut wood with it anyway but clothes and meat ;) example: people use plastic karambits for selfdefense!
@MrsTruthSeeker 1 year later and I still carry this knife, even though I haven't gotten around to sharpening it. Seems like you're correct about the rust resistance, it's held up really well in that department. I would need a coarser stone to sharpen it, might pick one up. However, the tip is very sharp and that's why I've carried it for the past year or so.
The grip serrations are to stop the blade rotating when you're doing an extension (a knife fighting technique specific to the karambit). I like the cold steel nightshade karambit for training they are quite cheap too. Good review :)
mmm the back part fo the sheath is kind loose because yeah you are rigth you can slide it on your jean ... but you should pass your belt through that kind of loop so your sheath would be realy safe (sorry for my english i am from guatemala) i am not a karabmit expert but i know a little bit jaja, nice one btw i will order one this week
You're a fucking idiot. Educate yourself on Karambits.

@kevinarmstrong1 It's a Canon PowerShot SD960 IS. Got it for about $250 on Amazon. It has much better color and sound than my old Sony DSC-T33.

Nice knife!

Oh, that's a wallpaper of this new gun coming out. It's supposed to fire from the bottom cylinder, like the dude in the anime Trigun.
