I am pretty sure that most Americans couldn't reciprocate because in your schools you generally learn about American geography and history. Which is fine but limiting when you realise most of Americas history happened before Europeans got there.
In primary school, which I assume is grade school for americans, We learn about all the countries including the American states. For us it's basic knowledge, my 8 year old sister, who is Irish(not baltic country), wrote a full blown 5000 word essay about Hitlers relations with other countries and described in detail the souviet union and its policies without help from a computer. In frickin' cursive. Thats average. American's are accused of being stupid for a reason.
