tests have shown the oqo is weak compared to the Sony UX or other UMPC's, but has a much nicer graphics card. which is somewhat wierd because oqo is meant to be a buisness device, where speed of the system is more important than gaming or visuals.

problem with oqo is its battery life. less than 2 hours compared to 3 hours of other devices. its why every1 is anxious to see the oqo 03 when ever that's announced.

OQO 02 Battery life: 3 hrs w/ standard battery in power saving mode, 6+ hours w/ extended battery in power saving mode.

I would disagree. I got a 2nd hand oQo mk2 the other week. Half Life runs superbly, Quake II, SiN and i play the Red Alert games on it also. I know i wont get Half Life II or similar to work but i'm very happy with the older FPS games and the Red Alert series work very well (T.Sun, R.Alert etc). Great gadget

I hope no one really thinks it'll run all new games easily. Its only a 1.5 mhz processor, theres no 3d graphics card built in etc.

But i'm very happy with all the games i've got running on it, shame no Half Life II but Half Life I and many other older games all work fine.

i bet u can turn the graphics down alot to get some more framerate. also cant u put it in windowd mode and resize the screen to what ever u want.

Yes, there are cheaper PCs, but there aren't any smaller PCs and they dropped the price for the entry level model to $1299.

the good thing about WoW is that you can take the whole WoW folder and just copy it inside any computer any hard drive with windows, even this UMPC and it will run :)

To fix that screen scrolling. Go to Video options, and set to windowed mode.

The OQO model 02 uses shared memory can have up to 128MB of video RAM.

yo in the options you can change the screen to widescreen then you dont have to skroll, and then use 1000x600

It's an active digitizer, so you'll need to use a stylus. The WoW interface seems like it would work very well with touch.
