Wow...glad they did a retake on it. The one that made it in is so much better. Either way, Dustin made for an EXCELLENT Captain Hook. Great director, great actors, and great music provided by a great composer...Hook is a movie that will never die. I still occasionally pop it in. Got both the old school VHS and the DVD. LONG LIVE THE HOOK!

Very very different. I like the cut they decided on using a lot better than this one. And I'm not just saying that because it's the take I've known and loved for the past 20 years. I think he sounds too much like a football coach pepping up his team; he doesn't exactly sound like a brazen, villainous and bloodthirsty pirate.

I think these bits of rare footage are great tools for young and aspiring actors to use to be able to see how our role models hone their craft. Thanks for posting!

Definitely more rage and creepiness here and even comical! Except in this perspective Mr. Hoffman is more saying his lines and coming across less sincere on his motive! Very Cool Take!
