@Aragon159 You are right it does a little except that the ringing noise never stops. I was in the house while we were making this TV commercial and that ringing was a very loud, very annoying sound that an intruder wouldn't be able to ignore.
Well thats the whole point of a siren, haha. In my house we have an external siren and strobe combined with a high frequency internal siren screamer wich produces a sound that is intolerable to the human ear and is designed to repel an intruder.
Yep that would work. This one as I recall was just annoying but not intolerable. The great feature was that the alarm company yells at the burglar. This way the burglar knows that the police will be there soon. At the time (maybe 2004) this was a unique alarm system. Today many companies offer the same thing. My job is to just make the TV commercials. By the way, I actually played the roll of the burglar. Yep, that's my feet running for the door in this commercial.
Thats true, many alarm companies are now using the same principal. nice running too :)
