  • The radiometer rotates as was observed because black side heats up more, and then heats up nearby molecules, which now move faster and create pressure on the black side :)

  • @v1taly1988 actually, since the molecules near the black side move faster, they push the molecules around more. This results in less concentration of gas at the black side. This counteracts the fact that molecules are moving faster (pushing more) because lower concentration means lower pressure.

    Or as Wikipedia puts it: the greater temperature causes a decrease in local density which results in the same force on both sides.

  • You don't need either one of them to do decompose and reconstruct phenomena that occur in nature. These things

    you mention are just social manipulative labels. I always like when somebody can't explain a situation/an object/a process and tries to divert from it by telling: "I don't have to show you anything since I have a degree in this and this and therefore it's automatically true that I am able to do it.". Do physics and stop crying about not having such manipulative labels.

  • Videos like this make me wish I had at least stayed in high school, and certainly make me wish I had a college education.
