@er13kfb my snake dose that all the time so what i do is find soft gloves that wont hurt your snake but will get a good grip on her during this time i made this video it was mating season and he escaped but i found him and he has been kinda moody ever since
dont use a glove.. just be gentle and slow. dont be rough. dont be scared. his bites not gonna hurt at all. reach in and handle him as much as you can. the more you handle him the more he will tame down. he might not be happy with the way he's being treated or his terrarium. it might be stressed out to much. but yeah.. dont be scared of its bite. hold it and let it know your not going to hurt it. tapping on the glass and "taunting" it will piss it off a lot. goodluck
@alan4drums yea i kind of got over the bites but she is still pissed when i open his tank but once i have him in my hand he is very nice and calm thanks again
just be patient kiddo im sure your snake will soon calm down, try not to keep waving your hand like that at him though, remember he is only tiny compared to your hand and they dont have the best eye sight.
i have the same corn snake as you. 8 months old and 24" long. Behaving just like that, and i was told this time of year they can act like that because it is mating season. It started 1 week ago for me and shes being a grumpy snake i just put on gloves and let it bite me when i move it back into the cage. The snake should calm down soon I hope :)
