  • Alex, the one thing that we need here is to have some way of recording which doggies have had the pill and which ones haven't - I would suggest some kind of photo log of the dogs who have been given the pills. When we did humane trapping, spaying/neutering and releasing, we did ear tipping for the cats so that we knew that they had been done, dogs had collard put on them with special tags to show that they had been neutered and vaccinated.

  • Sure, this is a good idea for strays. But who's to stop this drug from ending up in the hands of zealots who will sneak into dog shows and try to sterilize every dog they can? What happens when the responsible breeders get targeted for sterilization attacks by the fanatics that think ALL dog breeding is wrong? Entire breeds of dogs will go extinct. This drug should be kept under strict control by the government and it's distribution tightly accounted for. Like any dangerous drug the vets use.
