As far as I'm concerned Mr. Voice Host, I'm tired of seeing the Superman movies repeat themselves villain wise. What about Bizarro, Metallo, Brainiac, Chaos, The Prankster, The Toyman and any other Superman villain that hasn't been shown yet to side with Lex Luthor? Gary Oldman is doubtful because he is playing Commissioner James Gordon in the Batman movies. Remember?

Lex Luthor will not be in the movie, the main (and probably the only) villain in the movie will be General Zod... Played by Michael Shannon

Bad choice of casting!! i say Hugo Weaving would be perfect choice for Zod. Give me a break! Rose Gowen as Ursa, she can't even act! For Lois Lane, i would cast Taylor Cole instead of Courtney Cox. I wouldn't cast Nic Cage, Kurt Russell, or Kevin Spacey for Lex Luthor. They'll old and suck! Big Show as Non, what a joke! wrestlers can't act. Also, Non shouldn't be in the movie. The new movie should be a reboot, not a continuation to the previous series!

I don't really see Big Show playing as Non. That just seems to repeat the process of picking out a wrestler/professional athlete to fit the role of "Big, Dumb, Musclebound Henchman, whom rarely speaks". It would look like someone got lazy with the casting (LOL), idk, but a change of pace in picking a "Big Guy" for Non would probably be nice.

I Grew to Love and Admire Michael Rosenbaum's Lex Luthor from Smallville.

I really like Billy Zane. he looked great! Looked like the classic animated Lex.

And... Anthony Hopkins as Jor el has already filled the father role in Thor as Odin.

not to say he can't do the role...he's just already prepped.

NO Big show, I say KANE. You want somebody that is more brute looking. Big show doesn't look deadly enough. Nan should not look like he could babysit your kids but somebody that "mother told you not to hang with".

this is why the xmen franchise died. they continued using old vilians and had very bad writers. just look at what happened in "predators" the took the script rom predator and changed the cast... what a pile of trash...

move on. superman had many other villians other than lex.

Okay I agree with you on who should play Jor-El, Anthony Hopkins. Though I don't agree with you on the other things. I think Zod, Ursa, and Nom have already been done, I would want Matallo, Brainiac, or Doomsday. I want someone Superman could kick ass with. I want Lex Luthor he's timeless, but I would want him to wear his robot exoskeleton.

I did hear that in the cartoon Luthor and Brainiac fused into one, that would be interesting.

I think you are looking too much at the old movie of Superman. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan. But the new Superman would need originality and a greater sense of "true to life-ism" that I don't think those choices could pull off. I also think they should do away with Brandon Routh and get somebody who is a major body builder to play Superman so he would look more like the actual character from the comic strip.

@MarkPatriots dude im glad ur not the movie director, cuz this sucks,, you want things to stay the same to much of the old christopher reeve movies of superman,, thats why the new superman reterns didnt work, cuz biran singer was trying to make it a sequel type of movie to the old christopher reeve movies, making it more that style, when u start a new trilogy it cant be the same anymore, and to bring general zod back, when he has allready been DONE in superman 2, would be a FAIL
