yea that's what I read as a permanent loc. I'm not taking my Locs out. But I actually switched to the palm roll technique after I took the yarn braids out
This is the best example I have seen on latching thank you so much this is how I am going to maintain my daughters braidlocks that I started on 8/22/08!!!!
I have natural hair that is bleached blonde, can u tell me how many pieces of yarn you started your twist with and the method used to start also what type of hair products are you using on your hair.
This is what I want to do! Can't you just keep them in and cut them slowly like once every 6 months untill it is your natural hair? That's my plan. What do you think?
it was annoying me...i usually have extensions in my hair for 4 months and it was overdue. My latest hair vid "maybe baby dreads" shows a lil bit of my concern but the description box tells why i took them out
This is Kesha. Just thought I would tell you hello. I sent you all of the pics that took. You look marvelous. Can't wait to see the new vid. Mari wants to know if your famous and Spiderman says hello.
yea i agree..its so funny cuz i was thinking bout it but um...i dont have course hair or should i say "african american hair" its sorta umm on the fine side because i am mixed lol i sooooo wish i could dread it up because i would but my fiance would never let me..he would kill me..urs is beautiful
my preferred method of loc maintanence is palm rolling because palm rolling gives your locs a more cylindrical shape. but no matter the method of maintanence locs will be beautiful with patience, care and dedication. one last ting before i vacate the premises, i have to say its truly wonderful to see a beautiful woman embracing her natural nappy roots, bless up empress :)
thanks sir, i appreciate the compliment. I also chose the latch hooking cuz when I work out I didn't want the locs to loosen up since I was doing track for so long.
MAYYNNN! thnx so much 4 doing this. Had no idea they're yarns, they look GOOD! Make sure you keep us updated on the locks! btw mine are latchooked at the root and twisted the rest of the way.
I'm lockin it in the process of it growing out with a hair pin even tho the yarn braids are still in my hair...basically i'm leavin extensions in my hair while i tighten (knot it up) the roots
Wow! The hair pin thing is a great idea. I'll have to experiment when my hair fully locks. I'm concerned about messing it up before the first year. Thanks. I've seen the latch hooking and my stylist does it a little on my hair in certain spots.
This video made me wanna start my dreads.. You should be so proud..lol :)
