Been sort of a victory and defeat for Gonzo in this episode, isn't it? He plays his trumpet successfully and succeeds in his act, but gets a 5-foot-long arm, Floyd and Fozzie poke fun about it, and then he gets pulled all out of joint.
I love the fact that most people today think that the Muppet Show was designed for kids. They couldn't be more wrong if they tried, lol! Jim Henson deliberatly made the Muppet Show for adult entertainment and he's said as much in interviews given at the time it was at it's peak. Perfect proof of that is the song Miss Piggy sings in this episode, lol!
