  • WONDERFUL!!!

  • Thank you for posting this album! Merry Christmas! :D

  • My church youth group sang this for our carol service yesterday... except, y'know, with the words.

O come o come Emmanuel, and ransom captive Israel, that mourns in lonely exile here, until the Son of God appears...

  • Wow. That's beautful.

  • By far this, is one of my most favorite song;)

  • Most artist play in 2 keys, this song, does anyone know what key it's in?...it's perfect...good thing when we get to see jesus, there will be 1,000,000 versions an i want to play them all, some with voices others without, some in Hebrew Greek English Chinese, Arabic etc... it's to the Lord.

  • @GLASSBOXRECORDS It's in A minor. This is kind of interesting, because I feel like most O Come O come Emmanuel arrangements are in E minor.

  • I was hoping they were going to actually sing in this album... its beautiful yes, but if they would of sang each song it would of been the best album in history of Christmas music

  • Merry Christmas everyone. :) Hope it is a blessed one. I love you Jesus 4-ever.

  • ty for sharing the album.. Merry Christmas!

  • so haunting...

  • Thank you Lord for everything you have done for me you are born in a manger and you bring The Gift of the Prophecy to your people

  • i love this video!!!

  • I love this so much... With the israeli undertones to it... so beautiful. I love you Lord

  • He knows us each very personally, and did everything for us because he loves us so much :)

  • great song. i love and thank Jesus for dying slowly on the cross for our sins, Amen

  • Is the string solo consistently played on the violin or is the first phrase a viola?

  • if beautiful even to an atheist, imagine how much more moving when you do truly believe and are grateful, with all your heart !! a million times more beautiful !!!

  • this is just me, but this song without words has more effect on me then when it does with words

  • I want to learn violin just to play this fantastic piece.

  • <3

  • Even if you're not a christian, Christmas songs are beautiful

  • @omgarmadillo i agree ;)

  • This is beautiful...even to an atheist

  • Of all the versions I've heard, this so far is the most chilling... I'm not too sure what's the right term but it's something like that, I guess

  • @MsSnowprincess17 its incredible the impact of something like this without words, only a piano, and some stringed instruments.

  • @MsSnowprincess17 Schmaltzy.

  • Amen.

  • This is beautiful!

  • Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel has come to us, O Israel and all you that believe Jesus is the promised Messiah of Israel and Savior of all mankind. It is time for us to rejoice, not only that a Child was born, but because that Child was God made flesh to live among us. And then to die so you could escape the eternal death penalty your sins earned you. How? Receive Jesus and His death to pay the death penalty your sins earned you. Rejoice, Rejoice. Emmanuel is with us! Be saved from death today!

  • Absolutely Breathtaking!!

  • Best version of this song on the web.

  • @Mezzoforte58 It's good, but I prefer the Sufjan Stevens version myself.

  • YES please come again and live in our hearts and lives. ~ Yes, I do now receive Emmanuel, Jesus the Christ into my heart and my life as my Savior and my only Lord.

  • @Kansasman4Jesus - Amen!

  • Simply beautiful.. Praise you Father God, all glory and honor to YOU oh Lord...

  • simply amazing.

  • The violinist is so good. I have been playing for about seven and a half years. I pray that I too will be able to play like that for the glory of my God.

  • I totally love this playing...I want to learn Violin because of it :)

  • I totally love this playing....I want to learn Violin because of it :)

  • This version gives me chills.

  • belle et jolie interpretation!!! merci

  • Jesus is indeed the ransom for our sins.

  • @ArnaudForChrist Wait. Then I paid all that tithe for...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • Some very nice violin playing on this.

  • this song is hungarian from Zoltán Kodály

Please lock Zoltán Kodály : Veni veni Emmanuel

  • Blessed indeed are we that the FATHER sent His Son to save our pitiful, pitiful soul...

He will come again with thousands of his Holy Angels...Amen and Amen...

  • @PostingID Amen! Brothah/Sistah!!

  • I love this song, and this has to be the BEST version I have ever heard.

Somber, Solemn, yet Joyful and Hopefull.

    Merry Christmas everyone

  • @wyckoff1987 Hi, try the version by Jim Moray, if you want to have some real emotion added to this joyful song...

  • @rudiratlos02 ... I'm sorry. Joyful song? No real emotion?

I think you've been listening to another song than this one ... To me this isn't joyful, and full of emotion.

  • Beautiful! Merry Christmas everyone. God Bless.

  • thanks! i can make a christmas video for this because i have the lyrics

  • I am thinking about "The Old Violin" and it is a beautiful thought. He played a melody that was "pure and sweet." His song stills rings true! Thanks!

  • not many knows that the melody is actually jewish..

  • @ruchi750 Actually its origins are in Gregorian chant

  • @ruchi750 It's not jewish.

  • This is my favorite Christmas/Advent song. And how wonderfully it has been done!

  • Merry Christmas everyone!!

  • I think there were two demons that just watched this ^

  • this song make`s me cry =S

i played him with my school orchestra to <3

    is awesome

  • who could dislike something like that?!?!?!?

  • Brothers and sisters, if you wanna see the recorded version of this piece, with instruments and all the stuffs, visit my profile on Monday in the evening. This is one of the best arrangements I've ever heard.

  • This is one of the more beautiful songs that is heard during the holidays. It just seems to give you that feeling that you are not alone, that someone greater is watching over you. Personally, I prefer Nox Arcana's take on it, which is darker in nature but it still speaks to the heart, at least for me. A wonderful song, no matter who plays it.

    youtube.com/watch?v=E0yxDx5CvzM NA's version

  • I can't seem to listen to this song enough. It's amazing what God can use to show himself to us.

  • @EvanescenceLoverr - music give the spirit voice. He's talking to your heart.

  • @SexiDistraction And he's saying..?

  • @EvanescenceLoverr

Its very simple: If you doubt anything abut the Lord, you'd be very amazed about what you cant hear from him. even the slightest of doubt can build a wall between you and him. And though you may not to hear a voice when he speaks to your heart, instead you can feel his love, because he is completely devoted to you. That's what is so sweet; he loves you despite everything. and thats coming from personal experience, not just what the bible says.

  • Isaiah 7:14 (New International Version, ©2010)

14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.

  • I'm an atheist, but I go to a Catholic school.

They played this song while we were supposed to be meditating on something. I just about cried. It's so beautiful.

  • @EvanescenceLoverr

Then maybe your not truly atheist...you believe somewhere inside! God Bless You!

  • @GaCracker63 Lmao. Uhh,yeah,I'm pretty sure there's no faith in here whatsoever and I just very much enjoy the violin and piano together.

    But good mindset. (y)

  • @EvanescenceLoverr

Beauty finds itself not in the cause of the song, but the sound of it. A god which you don't believe in may have inspired this piece, but whether you believe in the god or not, the song is something that you can believe in somewhat more easily. You might find that a lot of old hymns share this trait. I hope that my God will bless you, whether your trust lies in him to do so or not.

  • @EvanescenceLoverr Yea that's a reasonable reaction.

  • This is Beautiful!

  • Only the Father knows the date and time of the return of the Lord, not even the Son knows! Come, Lord God, come! however, HE is returning, make no mistake about that! This time He is coming as the KING of kings and LORD of lords! He's coming for HIS Bride and to bring Justice to the Earth! Come, LORD GOD! Jesus Christ IS LORD!

  • Incredible. Thanks for posting.

  • isn't there a jew song on this music line, or maybe the jewish version of this song?

  • @cristian9108 the lyrics are talking about the coming of the messiah and do not speak explicitly of Jesus Christ. This song speaks to both Jewish and Christian contexts, as it refers to old testament prophecy which is accepted by Jews and Christians alike. It is a "Christmas song" because Christians interpret Christ as the fulfillment of those prophecies - it's like a "before" picture!

  • @cristian9108 There is a beautiful arrangement of this song, skillfully interwoven with HaTikvah (The Hope) by Selah. It is so perfect, as Yeshua is the Salvation, the Hope of Israel.

  • For anyone who desires a biblical understanding of the gospel and salvation, I would highly recommend checking out the scribd website that is listed on my channel.

  • @DreamsofMajesty You've got to be kidding. i would strongly suggest they check out "Philemon's Problem," by James T. Burtchaell, CSC, former Chairman of the Theology Department and Provost, University of Notre Dame.

  • @tommerrigan1956

No, I'm actually quite serious, but thanks for the input. =P

  • Jesus said that he would come back when we least expected, so live your life to the fullest. that is all you can do, be yourself and love one another as God loves you!! (^_^)

  • @saber1244 Jesus, The Holy spirit & God are 1 .

  • @ykalaveras The Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are God. Praise Emmanuel, which means, "God with us!

  • @Paulkazey1

Check out 'The Oneness of God' by David K. Bernard. I think its still available online for free.

  • Jesus said Heis coming back,But He never says WHEN.What is that mean simple. We NEED to be ready...FEAR God...The Question is WHEN you DIE today do know where you GOING...ha Think About it....

  • this should be the intro to abr's o come o come emannuel

  • such a good song!!!!!!!!

  • This is glorious. Soaring. So elegant. Just wonderful.

  • isnt it wonderful to be a part of JESUS??????

  • This song reminds me that Christ and God are always there, you just have to remember and "ask and ye shall recieve, knock and it shall be opened unto you." "ye are the light of the world, a city that is set on a hill can not be hid, niether do men light a candle and put it under a bushel but on a candle stick and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your father which is in heaven."

  • @HimokoSonozaki Wow. You read my mind.

  • @g3g3ify - Thank you.

  • It's like it's christmas day..... and you're all alone.... but the silence and death makes you desperate to find someone, so you go running all around the place, trying to find that one person..... then you stop and see.... the written rocks on the surface

  • @HimokoSonozaki ...deep...

  • @reziboy100 - deep as the end of the universe...

  • @HimokoSonozaki no...deeper... :)

  • @reziboy100 - Thank you. That's the first thing I wrote when I listened to this song.

  • @HimokoSonozaki you're welcome...I was blessed reading it...keep writing.

  • @reziboy100 - Thank you. I write alot of stuff.

  • august burns red version is way better!!!:D

  • @joshbuckleysmelly im not gonna lie that made my day XD

  • this is such a beautiful song

  • BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF WORSHIP.....WOW....<3

  • WiseMansHeart...I am sorry to say this, but we are not supposed to know when he will come. We are to be ready at all times for him, not at the last second. Take for instance the lesson Jesus gives in Matthew 25:1-12. I know of what you will say. I have read you're posts. the dates you say are take are from the bible, but you put them into a mathematical calculation that man has invented. Just like all the other predictions from history have been. No one, will know when. So says the Lord.

  • "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. " Matthew 24:36

"Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect." Matthew 24:42-44

  • Genesis 1:3-4

God said, Let there be light, and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was GOOD.

  • @Konafallen it was better than good...it was GREAT!

  • @Konafallen Genesis 19:4-6

"Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom—both young and old—surrounded the house. 5 They called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them.”

  • this was a gorgeous an beautiful piece of music u did! :) i loved it!

  • The biblical timeline of history comes from the bible it is not added to the bible it is figured out by taking all the verses that have time and date info and putting them all together to form a calendar by which we learn all the dates of the important events in Gods salvation plan. You can find the whole timeline and all the verses it was built from on ebiblefellowship (dotcom) I am not a teacher I am a watchman for the Lord and must proclaim the warning that judgment day is here may 21 2011.

  • Why are we debating the end of the world. For it is written in the book of Matthew in chapter 24. "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels nor the Son (Jesus for all of you who think Jesus isnt the son) only the Father knows." So why try to predict the comming every time you try you will fail. When you try God will change the day so no man can say that he knows what God is thinking and that he knows when things are to happen.

  • @Migh, Did Noah know when the Flood would come? Did Jonah know when Ninivah would be destroyed? Did Lot know when Sod & Gom would be destroyed? Did Pharoah know when the plagues were coming? Yes! Yes! Yes!

Amos 3:7 "Surely the Lord God will do NOTHING, but he revealeth His secret unto His servants the prophets".

Before the churches DIED, nobody knew the time of the end. As we entered the Latter Rain in '88, the Lord removed the seals (Rev 5&6). See Dan 12:9, knowledge shall increase!!

  • Picking dates for the return of the Lord is unbiblical...no getting around it. Jehovah Witnesses have done it for years in their publications and literature and have watched their "prophesied" dates of Christ's return come and go. They changed their publications after to make the prophesy work for them. Im not trying to be mean, because Jesus commands us all to love one another...the second greatest commandment...I just want people to know Jesus will return any time and unnannounced-so be ready!

  • @EDGE329

That is so true, all we can do is hope in the One true God, and trust in His Son, who has paid the sacrifice for us.

If God told us when he would return to judge then everyone would "repent" just before that, but live however they wanted to for a long as they could. But because being a disciple of Jesus is about striving for him and his glory with all your heart we must live according to his word ALL the time, not just when it suits us. :)

  • @EDGE329 Jesus,Son of God, has already returned, and was crucified by the Albanians.

  • @EDGE329 Yeah the bible says no man shall know the day, nor the angels, not even the son, only the Father knows.

  • @EDGE329 That's comforting. There was a pamphlet on my fiancee's car window when she got off work that said the end of the world is May 21st and to repent! That is our wedding day! Yikes! LOL

  • And I don't get to see my 58th birthday 22 May 2011 - what a bummer!!

  • @rickmystic My brother's bd. is one year and one day before your bd......He will be 59 next year....May 21....

  • @EDGE329 Jehovah's Witnesses are heretics. Whilst we should love our enemies we must judge heresy as antichrist and advise all to turn away from it.

  • @EDGE329 He already has. Look around you, Edge.

  • @EDGE329 and he himself told us that it is not for us to know when he'd be back, as not even the angels themselves know it, only God the Father knows it lol

  • @EDGE329 Amen!!!!!!!!

  • @EDGE329 AMEN THATS WHY THEY JW'S HAVE PROVEN TO BE ANOTHER FALSE PROPHETT

  • Matthew 24:36 says, "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." Ecc. 8:7, "Since no man knows the future, who can tell him what is to come?"

  • So I never comment, but I was reading what WitnessoftheTruth had to say and was really disturbed! You quoted Ecc. 8:5 about how the Elect will know, time and judgment. Only 2 verses later, however, it says "Since no man knows the future, who can tell him what is to come?" If you wont take that, Matthew 24 records Jesus' own words: "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come."

  • @ Witness

I could say the same for you. Actually, I would say that you need to stop being selective as to what you want to believe in the Bible. You know that to be a Christian you are suspose to believe in ALL of the Bible. So, you take you "end of the world" theory (and it is just a theory) and go away with it. If you really do know the day of destruction then you must be God since only He know that date.

Oh and I have spent much time in the Bible. My grandpa, a pastor, made sure of it.

  • @love, Sorry, church credentials only hurt you in our day. The church isn't called the Great Whore for nothing. Prostituting God's Word to fill the collection plate. Judgment Day is a theory? Really? Yet you want to claim Biblical Truth? What do you think the Nochain Flood was? A swimming party? The Lord destroyed about 2 million people.

The Lord is a God of justice. "The Lord LOVETH JUDGMENT" Ps 37:28. Judgment irradicates evil from off His property. So shall it be on May 21, 2011

  • You should really step into our church then. You know I think that you are coming back with these comments because you know that we can all see through the bull that YOU are trying to sell. We can all see that you are one of the biggest hypocrites. You quote scripture yet you go against it in the same way saying that you can tell what day God is coming back. EVERYBODY with a right mind knows that is total garbage. And you know what, when God comes back, I know 100% that I'm going to Heaven.

  • @lov, Sorry, if you are still in a church today, you are worshipping satan, according to the Bible. The Bible calls the church spiritual Babylon, the Great Whore, for a reason. The church has prostituted herself for the collection plate. Preaching the Truth of God's Word, is bad for attendence, and therefore bad for church finances

The church is full of Tares (weeds) in our day. Folks who walk and talk saved, but were NEVER GIVEN a new, eternal soul. The church membership will be left behind

  • Just wondering what demonination of christianity are you from?

  • @Mig, I stand on the Holy Bible (KJV) alone, rightly divided, in it's entirety

Just the fact that you ask this question scares me. There is only ONE God, ONE Holy Bible, and ONE Truth. Yet hundreds of denominations claim to have Truth, ALL teaching something different, on the same subject!!

This can't be.There is NO Truth in ANY church today. You cannot trust the church. You need to do your own homework. The church is run like a business today. They want to merchandise the Word for profit

  • If just one question that I ask scares you then you are a false phrophet. You have no answer to my question. there is no where in the bible that states the date of the end of the world is on the day you say it is. So I will ask you again how do you know when the end of the world is.

  • @Might, The false prophets are in your church spoon feeding you poison every week. Telling you all is well. You are a child of God, just 'accept" Christ. Just 'believe', read John 3:16 over and over, forget about the 50 verses that speak about Election.

You worship your own god. You, as well as others, have stolen the name of Christ, and profaned His Holy name. The time is near, and is already here, when the Lord will purify His name, and destroy the counterfiets.

    Google May 21, 2011

  • ok now your making sense. I do believe in Christ as my savior.

  • WitnessoftheTruth...you say that the Holy Spirit gave the Church over to Satan on May 21st 1988. Why would the Godhead do that if the Church is the Bride of Christ? And if you believe that you are on the right path (standing on the Bible alone), then you are clearly missing the whole command to love one another that is the very basis of the bible.

  • @EDG, There are 2 churches spoken about in the Bible. The Invisible, Eternal Church, made up of only the Elect, which is the Bride of Christ, that will be Raptured on May 21, 2011.

The other church, the denominational churches are loaded with Tares (weeds). Folks who think they are saved, but are not. The local churches will be left behind, and destroyed, along with all the other non-elect.

The seasons have changed. Judgment Day is 63 weeks away. We love one another by preaching Truth.

  • I also can see that you are following Harold Camping's beliefs. He's the one who predicted that the end of the world would come on May 21st 2011. Do you also know that he predicted the same thing would happen by 1994? That year came and passed and the world lives on. That's proof that only God knows the exact time when he will come.

You are also acting kind of foolish spitting our all this "scholarly" information, but implying the Bible worth reading is KJV only...

  • @EDG, I disagree, The King James Version is the "Gold Standard" of Bible Translations. Any faithful Bible teacher is using KJV as the source of Truth. Many inferior translations have actually changed words to agree with faulty church doctrines.

The KJV still has some translation errors. A faithful Bible teacher will always go back, and double check the translation from the original Hebrew and Greek.

  • @EDG, I'n not sure what you see, but my only source of infallible Truth, is God's Law Book, the Holy Bible. Every man is corrupt to some degree. No one is 100% faithful. The Elect stand on the Bible alone.

You don't know your Bible very well. How can you make this statement?

"That's proof that only God knows the exact time when he will come".

    The Bible tells us differently. Amos 3:7; I Thes 5:4-6; Rev 3:3; Ecc 8:5; Dan 12:9-10; Rev 5-8; Jere 31:31; Heb 8; Dan 12:4

  • Amos 3:7

God has shown His plan to His prophetsHe gave us the Bible, which also says that only the Father will know the time or the hour when Christ returns. How can the passage (Matt. 24:36-42) be ignored?

  • 1 Thess. 5:4-6

5:1-2 says about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. And though we are not in the darkness or night like verses 4-6 say, the following verses attribute that to having faith, being self-controlled and alert. Look at the WHOLE context.

  • Rev. 3:3

Speaks to the church in Sardis. Telling them to wake up so not to be caught unaware of the time. But if God says only He knows the time Christ returns (Matt. 24:36), and we look at the context of Mat 24:42 "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come, then we cant say that anyone will know the date of Christs return.

  • Ecc. 8:6

8:7 says Since no man knows the future, who can tell him what is to come? Context tells us that proper time and procedure cannot apply to the coming of the Lord.

    Dan. 12:9-10

This is stating that the wise, those who have that true relationship with Jesus, will know Satan and his followers outcome. God will reign and believer will understand the times they are in. This does not refer to knowing the exact return of Christ.

  • Rev. 5-8

I believe a time of sorrow-a tribulation-is coming. And it will be horrible for whoever is left behind. But again, this has nothing to do with knowing the exact date of Christs return. The 144, 000 are from the tribes of Israel. It is not the elect.

    Jer. 31:31

The new covenant here is revealed in following verses to be the restoration of Israel to God. This again has nothing to do with knowing the exact date and return of Christ.

  • Heb. 8

This new covenant is what God will establish when he returns. It is a state of covenantal perfection, in which Jesus reigns at the right hand of the Father.

    Dan. 12:4

Its the prophecy that Daniel was to close and seal. It was not wisdom or the Word of God. This communicates that this is NOT something to be figured out. I dont mean to be rude, but isnt trying to study this and determine what was sealed similar to going here and there to increase knowledge?

  • I think you are picking and choosing what you want from Scripture to support your claims. I dont think that you look at context very much, which is an easy way to misinterpret Scripture.

  • I am genuinely sorry that a church may have lied and hurt you and your family. Im sorry if you feel betrayed. I am a pastor and am not in it for the money (I qualify for food stamps) and not for my own glory. I want the truth known. I love and worship God, not Satan. I know that God loves you too! 1 John 3:1 says "How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!" It goes on to explain that we know what love is because Jesus gave Himself for us.

  • You claim to be a teacher of the BIBLE but you do not understand the fact that the true Israel of God is all the true believers. The fig tree representing Israel came into leaves (became a nation) in 1948 but did not have any fruit, they do not believe Christ is the messiah. 40 years later the tribulation began. Please do some studying on the biblical timeline there are videos i favorited on my channel that show how we can know the dates of all the important events in Gods salvation plan.

  • Nobody has still answered what I said about the first prophecy/prediction about the end of the world in 1994...but thats ok.

Luk 10:22 "All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him."

I dont need to debate this anymore. I know where Im going, and I did this to try to show you the truth, but also to help others who may come across this.
